Packaging:

I have always loved the packaging of the Colorbar creme touch lipsticks; matte touch lipsticks too have a similar one.They click lock, are super shiny and you can easily carry them in your vanity pouch. I like how they come in a cardboard as well.

Color:

The color of this shade is just what it says “Electric red”.It is a very vibrant, if not neon or bright, red.It adds instant brightness to the face. I am in love with the kind of red it is, not too blue, not too orangey,it is just the right red.The color is gorgeous indeed.

Finish:

The finish of the lipstick is matte.It is not cakey or powdery matte, but it is quite matte.It can be compared to the velvet matte range from Colorbar. Now that range is not available around.I like the matte look this lipstick has, without being too cakey to appear like it has settled in lip lines.

Texture:

The texture of the lipstick feels hard and taut, not in a bad way.It looks stiff but as soon as you apply pressure, it warms up and the color glides well on the lips without much tugging.It is sure to be a bother for flaky lips, like most lipsticks.The texture can be called semi-matte hard, in a way.It is not moisturizing at all but for my normal lips, it is not bothersome either.

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation is fantastic.It is a full coverage red,it is a pure bright red.You do not need to build it much.It is quite red in one go.It feels little on the thick side.The lipstick does not bleed, once worn, it stays well and you do not need a lip liner either.

Lasting power:

The lipstick stains badly, and with the stain it could last for 6 hours.It does not feel moisturising at all, with time; lips could look parched and dry. I wish it were moisturizing enough and would not stain but the bright red stain has really broken my heart once again, Colorbar.

Recommendation:

I recommend this for the festive season, for brides and for girls who can carry reds anytime.I do not mind wearing this red , if worn neatly, it looks very classy.I pair it with winged black liner.Dry lips can skip this.
