Colorbar Shimmer Magic Baked Blush , Eyeshadow, Bronzer Photos, Swatches

Colorbar has launched these gorgeous baked blush, eyeshadow, bronzer Shimmer Magics. Don’t they remind you of MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes?

All of them are very nicely pigmented. These can be used as blush , bronzer or eyeshadow. Also, these can be used wet or dry.

Price : Rs 750/- for 9 gm

Pinch Me pink 002 : A bright Plum pink with tarnished gold, copper and bronze veins. Overall the color swatches as a bronze with plum undertones. It’s a great pick for those with dusky skin tones.

Gleeful Glam 007: Bronze with purple veins running all over. Overall it swatches deep brownish copper color. But since the purple part in the pan is quite a lot, you can use the two as separately as well or an eye makeup look.

Wink Pink 006 : A baby pink with white, champagne, silver, deep pink ad slight gold veins running all over. Overall it swatches as a silvery pink. This could make afine highlighter for those with fair complexion.

Terracotta Sheen 005: This one is white with bronze and copper veins running all over. Overall it swatches as light greyish taupe color.

Virgin Gold 004: This one is like true gold color in the pan. There are very slight coppery veins here . The main part is mainly yellow gold color with slight coppery sheen.

Honeymoon Peach 003 : A deep coral orange with deep bronze veins here and there. It swatches as deep peachy orange

Hint of Tint 001 : A cream muted gold based with baby pink, brown, copper and bronze veins running all over. It swatches as a soft bronzy color.

Swatches : Virgin Gold, Honeymoon Peach, Hint of tint

They do remind me of MAC and the prizes remind me of Revlon O:) O:)

yeah…the price is of Revlon..I really wonder why the products are priced so high???? there are no import duties I guess for these products….the way it is for international brands…Pretty products..but somehow I donno..I dont have even a single thing from colorbar and such price trend puts me off from even trying anything…

I mean when I am getting the same thing for same or a bit higher price from a much trusted, well known and well established brand..why would I go for this? And that is what has been happening with me so far…I get some or the other dupe of colorbar products in other brands and I end up going for them. Somehow the prices dont do much justification here….atleast not for me..

omg!! i just went thru all the colorbar posts now n finally stopped byy to comment on these! I loved everything from the crackle nail paints to to the kohls n now these baked stuffs!@ Colorbar has definitely upped their quality n their price too, tho that’s the sad part

i got honeymoon peach two weeks back .i wuz very excited aft i bought it .. but m not impressed with the way it works.. i find it hard to blend as a blush /bronzer.. and whatever i do i alwayz end up with too much color ?:) …the glitters are also very prominent on the skin.. do suggest me some tips to make it work ..

hmmm…..I think you try using a light hand in taking the product out and always tap off the excess from the brush. If you feel that the glitter is looking too much, you can always subdue it by gently rubbing a clean brush over it, or even a buffer brush or the brush that you used to apply foundation…

what’s the difference between a normal (powder or cream) blush and a baked blush? have heard of baked bronzers too…what’s the speciality of “baked” products? ?:) ?:)

OMG Rati, these are just gorgeous. I love Pinch Me Pink. Nothing new in Colorbar ever gets launched here…they should just close up their counters here instead of wasting their money and they should throw away all the expired stock which they sell here. I went to check a blush the other day…they just had 1 colour and the whole tester was falling apart and the blush tester was mildewed and had changed colour and was totally in throw-away condition. That was all they had apart from few old nail polishes and old glosses. i
