Colorbar Star Gloss Lipgloss Ripe Apple
Hello everybody, Colorbar is one of the favorite brand for most of the ladies! Colorbar Star Gloss Lipgloss is a wonder product I found at the Colorbar counter. The shade I chose is Ripe Apple.
Price and Quantity: 6ml for Rs.225.
Shelf life: 2 years.
Ingredients: castor oil, ozokerite, white bees wax, petroleum jelly, lanolin, candelilla wax, carnauba wax, paraffin wax, light liquid paraffin. propylparaben, BHT, tocophery acetate, isopropyl myristate, perfume, pearls & pigments …hmmmpph!

May contain: C1. 15850:1, 15510, 15985, 17200, 19140, 42051, 42090, 45410:1, 47005, 73360, 77007, 77288, 77289, 77891, 77499, 77491, 77492, 77742 …aah! A huge list to research on. Me yet to find out the details on these ingredients items.
My Experience with Colorbar Star Gloss Lipgloss
This product comes in a short tube like structure. The package has a shiny steel colored cap with a stick and a sponge applicator, which glides very well on the lips. The gloss has no taste (I accidentally licked).
For me, this lip gloss is a great boon.
Ripe Apple is a wonderful color. The gloss gives a rich colored pigment.
It gives a glossy finish to the lips and moisturizes the lips well. It can be worn alone or along with a lipstick.
I wear it alone. The gloss stays on the lips with full color for almost 4 hours hrs. Though it fades after lunch, the tint is still there on the lips. It is not just a faint trace that remains, the tint is pretty dark.
However, after around 4 hrs or so, lips tend to be a little dry. This can be worked about with a lip balm. When lips starts to get dry, I top it up with VLCC lip shield (strawberry)
Sometimes, depending on my mood, I blot my lips with a tissue few minutes after I apply the gloss. A very nice shade remains back on my lips. I love this blotted color. And then I top my lips with a lip balm. This is my most favorite look on my lips.
Pros of Colorbar Star Gloss Lipgloss
-Rich pigment.
-Gossy finish.
-Sponge applicator.
-Staying power is good.
-Leaves a tint behind.
Cons of Colorbar Star Gloss Lipgloss
-Seems to dry after sometime.
Apart from this one draw back, I have no problem at all with this lip-gloss.
Rating: 4/5 (reduced 1, because of the huge ingredients list, I am so scary about until I find out the details.)
Will I repurchase? Yes, in some other shade.
