Today my review is about Colorbar Starshine Lipgloss – Loyalist. This is one of my first lip gloss purchase from Colorbar and its one of my favorite glosses.

What the product claims:

The Star Shine Lip Gloss is a sheer gloss with glitter that gives the lips a sheen and look of liquid diamonds. It makes the lips look fuller and more enhanced. The Star Shine Lip Gloss is ideal for night and party wear and can be used alone or over a lipstick and is further accentuated with a matching lipstick or lip liner.

My take on Colorbar Starshine Lipgloss – Loyalist:

The lip gloss comes in a sturdy plastic tube with a doe foot applicator and the packing is so travel friendly that I have been carrying it along with me in my bag during college days and nothing happened to the gloss i.e no breaking, no product spillage etc. The transparent packing makes identifying the shade easy. I looooveeeeeeee the smell of the product.It smells of chocolate and sometimes I feel like licking it. The gloss is very opaque,and covers the pigmentation of the lips to some extent,for me a lip liner and this gloss do the job. Consistency is thick,non sticky and non drying. Gloss glides smoothly on lips without much effort. The gloss has fine shimmer particles in it-so suitable for nights than mornings.  The staying power is good stays for about 3-3.5 hours without eating,and with eating stays for about 2-2.5 hours[that’s a good thing for a gloss].

Now summing up:

Pros of Colorbar Starshine Lipgloss – Loyalist:

• Good shade suitable for fair to medium skin tones.
• Good staying power.
• Nice lip smacking smell.
• Nicely pigmented.
• Colorbar products are easily available.

Cons of Colorbar Starshine Lipgloss – Loyalist:

Contain shimmer particles.

Would I recommend Colorbar Starshine Lipgloss – Loyalist?

Definitely yes.
