Colorbar Triple Effect Makeup Review

Colorbar Triple Effect Makeup Review

Hello Lovely Ladies,

I have used lots of products from Colorbar and among them, the mineral foundation is one of the best.  I have wheatish complexion and I get confused while purchasing the right shade that would match my skin tone.  While purchasing this triple effect makeup, the SA managed to convince me to get the shade “004 Cafe.”

My Experience with Colorbar Triple Effect Makeup:

To apply makeup is a very long process and if you get a product that claims to be all-in-one, then its very interesting.  I find it interesting because in one pack, you get concealer, foundation and compact.  When I first applied it on my face, I had to put in a little bit of effort to take the first swipe.

Triple Effect Makeup 3

You have to really blend it in, otherwise you would end up with patches.  More than two swipes are required to get coverage.  It claims to contain anti-ageing properties, which is an added advantage.  I do think that the texture should be worked upon.  This product gives a matte finish to the face.  I felt the finish to be very soft and smooth.  It stayed on my face for more than 5 hours, but I am not sure how it would fare during the hot and humid months.  Another thing to mention is that if you have dry skin, it would be a bit difficult to blend it in properly.

Triple Effect Makeup 4

Pros of Colorbar Triple Effect Makeup:

  • Concealer, foundation and compact, its an all-in-one product.
  • Gives a matte finish.
  • Stays for more than 5 hours.
  • Claims to contain vitamin E and anti-ageing properties.
  • Feels light on the skin and is also oil free.
  • Travel friendly.
  • Available at all Colorbar counters.
  • Hydrating.
  • Protects your skin from harmful sun rays.

Cons of Colorbar Triple Effect Makeup:

  • There is still room for improvement in terms of this product’s texture and blendability.
  • More than 2 swipes are required to get medium coverage.
  • Gives a whitish cast to the skin.

3.5/5

Do I Recommend Colorbar Triple Effect Makeup?

I would rather choose liquid foundation instead of this all-in-one product.
