I had reviewed Colorbar True Gloss Lip Gloss in the shade Nectar Orange a few days back. Since I liked it a lot, I decided to get it in one more color. After going through all the colors, I finally got “Fresh Pink” because all the others colors were too bright for my liking. Read on more to find out about this gloss.
My Experience with Colorbar True Gloss Lip Gloss – Fresh Pink:
Colorbar True Lip Gloss comes in a long, cylindrical tube with a silver cap. It has the usual doe-foot applicator which helps in providing even coverage. The applicator picks up the right amount of product. I usually require to dip the applicator twice in the bottle for complete, opaque coverage. Fresh Pink is a very pretty, candy pink color. I am a fan of candy pink colors, so I love this color. This color might wash out dusky complexions. It will suit fair skin tones the best. Fresh Pink isn’t completely opaque as its counterpart “Nectar Orange” and isn’t as bright as that. It requires two swipes for complete opaque coverage.
It easily stays on my lips for about 3-4 hours and fades away leaving behind a pinkish tint. Being opaque and non-shiny, I didn’t expect it to be moisturising, but it is, in fact, very moisturising. I don’t feel the need to apply lip balm beneath. It doesn’t have any glitter particles, but still gives that shiny, dewy look to the lips for about 3-4 hours. It doesn’t settle in fine lines.
Pros of Colorbar True Gloss Lip Gloss – Fresh Pink:
- A nice candy pink color which will suit fair skin tones the best.
- Good staying power.
- Doesn’t contain glitter.
- Doesn’t settle into the fine lines.
- Creamy texture.
- Decent applicator.
Cons of Colorbar True Gloss Lip Gloss – Fresh Pink:
- It isn’t completely opaque like the other colors in this range.
- Won’t suit dusky skin tones.
Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Colorbar True Gloss Lip Gloss – Fresh Pink?
According to me, Colorbar lip glosses are one of the best lip glosses available in the market. They are not true lip glosses with glittery particles in them, but they are a kind of hybrid of lip glosses and lipsticks with coverage and staying power of lipsticks and shine and texture of lip gloss. No matter what color you choose, you should definitely try these lip glosses. Coming to “Fresh Pink,” you can try this if you like light pink glosses, but I won’t repurchase it because I like Nectar Orange (the other color I have) more than this.
