Product Description:

Coloressence Pinkish Delight Premia Lipstick

My Experience with Coloressence Pinkish Delight Premia Lipstick:

Packaging: This “Premia” range comes packed in a silver cardboard box on which all the details are printed in black. The body of the lipstick is silver with mirror effect which attracts a lot of fingerprints and it is quite difficult to photograph. The packaging is sturdy enough. The cap covers the entire lipstick body and shuts with an audible click.

Color/Pigmentation: Pinkish Delight looks almost like a dark n*de shade in the bullet. But when swatched, it comes off as a brownish pink. It’s far from the actual “pink” color. It has a lot of brown and mauve tones, making it an “everyday lipstick.” It should have been named “mauvish delight.” However in the pictures, especially on my lips, you can see that it looks very pink. That’s strange! Talking about pigmentation, I’m impressed. This one’s the most pigmented from the four Coloressence premia lipsticks that I bought. When you swipe it twice, it looks like it’s a liquid lipstick. Two coats of this on your lips and you are good to go!

Texture: I like how creamy and smooth it feels. When I was at the beauty store and was swatching the testers, they were not as smooth! I almost decided to skip, but somehow, I picked them again because the shades were really pretty and I really feel glad that I picked them up. They go on super smoothly on the lips, no tugging or pulling. They aren’t too creamy though, so they don’t melt when you keep them outside. I guess they have changed their formula or something, but the texture is way too different from the other lipsticks I own from this range. You do not even need a lip balm with this lipstick!

Staying Power: This lipstick has an average staying power of 3-4 hours after which it starts fading. It does transfer to cutlery. It also leaves a tint behind after it fades.

Smell/Taste: It has a typical lipstick smell to it, which hardly lingers. It tastes bitter, which I’m not a fan of ! :/
