This is my first product from Coloressence and I had no idea about the quality of this brand before buying Coloressence Primea Chest Nut Lipstick. Let us move on to its review quickly to see how this lipstick fared for me.

Product Description:
It gives you a dazzling crystal like effect, which gives your lips a fabulous soft texture. The innovative formula of vitamin E, jojoba oil and licorice extract reduces lines, repair cracked lips and gives you an enticing glossy finish for optically more volume.

3 years from the date of manufacture.

 

Ingredients:
Jojoba oil, Licorice extract. No other ingredients are mentioned.

My Experience with Coloressence Primea Chest Nut Lipstick:

I was sceptical about the quality of this brand before purchasing this lipstick. But now, I think Coloressence lipsticks, in terms of quality fares quite well and its priced reasonably too.

“I have enough lipsticks and I am not going to buy more…” said no woman. Atleast not me! I have other lipsticks of the shade, closer to this particular shade of Coloressence Primea Chest Nut Lipstick. I still went on to purchase this lipstick thinking that I had not tried Coloressence yet.

 

Packaging:
I was a little surprised when, I first saw the lipstick. The packaging of this lipstick is versatile and is not similar to any of the lipsticks that I had came across, till date. The shape of its outer cap makes it look different from other usual lipsticks of well-known brands. By its shape, I can easily make out Coloressence lipstick among my other lipsticks of different brands. The body and cap of the lipstick comes in silver metallic case with its logo embossed in black. The base of the lipstick is shaped like the alphabet ‘D’. The quantity, shade and the price is embossed in black on its base.

Overall, I think the quality of the lipstick is quite decent for the price. Also, as it is well pigmented and stays for about good three hours. I liked the packaging of the lipstick more and that it does not stain or smudge that easily.

Color and Texture:
The shade and color of Coloressence Primea Chest Nut Lipstick have been named accordingly to its appropriate shade. This particular shade looks exactly like the color of a raw chest nut. It is a lighter shade of brown with bronze and orange undertone. It also comes with a tint of very light shimmer in it. The texture of the lipstick is not much creamy but works fine and is visible enough on first application. It tends to settle on fine lines, after application. However, I had to run the lipstick twice or thrice to intensify the actual shade of this lipstick.

Pigmentation and Smell:
The color shows off well in the first attempt and is quite pigmented. The smell of the lipstick is not sweet or strong but smells good. It has a mild smell and I like to sniff it once before application. Some may not like the taste of it.

Staying power:
The staying power is quite decent. It stays up to three hours. It does not get transferred very easily. Though, it stains a little but does not stain that bad either. The shade may lighten a bit after a meal but does not fade completely.

• Tends to settle on fine lines.

Do I Recommend Coloressence Primea Chest Nut Lipstick?
Yes, I would recommend this, if you were looking for a budget friendly lipstick with decent quality. Otherwise, you can skip this one, if you are more interested in buying a better quality lipstick that is very pigmented and long lasting from other well-known brands.
