Coloressence Red Coral Liplicious Gloss Review

Skin tone: medium olive

Hello ladies,

You girls already know how much I am addicted to lip products, and how I always pick up corals or oranges. It has become an obsession of sorts for me. The same thing happened this time also – I again picked up a beautiful coral color from Coloressence. So today, I am going to pen down my views on this Coloressence Liplicious Gloss in the shade ‘Red Coral’. Let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Coloressence Red Coral Liplicious Gloss:

Packaging: The packaging of this gloss looks absolutely gorgeous. This gloss comes in a beautiful glossy cardboard box and the actual tube is placed inside this box. It is a long black tube with a sleek black cap. At the bottom of the tube, there is a clear part that shows the actual color of the gloss.

It looks really attractive and it is easy to identify the shade with such packaging. The tube is leak- proof and travel-friendly. The applicator wand is long and it has a flat sponge applicator which evenly distributes the color on my lips. A good amount of the product comes out with the applicator. It is so easy to apply this lip gloss.

Shade: This ‘Red Coral’ is a gorgeous bright coral-red shade with a hint of orange. So overall, this mix of three colors turns into a vibrant, poppy shade that adds a very bright look to my face. It doesn’t have any shimmer in it and it suits almost every skin tone. It is just the perfect shade for parties, and is also a nice summery shade with warm undertones. It looks extremely pretty and it can be worn with any kind of makeup look.

Pigmentation, texture & quality: Despite being a lip gloss, it is really pigmented, and one application provides true color intensity. I am totally amazed with the pigmentation. It has a thick creamy texture and it glides smoothly on the lips. Due its thick texture, it feels a little heavy just after the application. But, once it settles down nicely, it feels light and natural. This non-sticky lip gloss gives a very bright and glossy shine to my lips. It makes my lips super glossy but soft and hydrated. It keeps my lips soft for long and they never feel patchy. This is really a nice option for dry lips.

It doesn’t settle into the fine lines and never crease at all. But, as it is a lip gloss, it transfers a lot. But, as it’s a super pigmented gloss, it never looks bad even after transferring. It never moves from its place that but as it is a gloss, it might look messy at the end of the day. It gives a lovely and even application that looks good all day long. It has a nice smell of Shea butter. But it is a little too strong for those who don’t prefer fragranced cosmetics. I really like that it contains good ingredients like Vitamin E, Shea butter, castor oil etc.

Staying power: It almost survives 6-7 hours. But, after lunch, it looks a little faded from the center of my lips. Still, a nice stain stays behind on my lips for long. The shine or gloss starts to fade after 4-5 hours, but it never looks bad even after a long day. It never makes my lips dry. It can’t survive a heavy lunch properly, but can survive a light lunch and some snacks. It is easy to remove the color from the lips.

Overall: I am super happy with the color and the quality of this gloss. I need to exfoliate my lips before applying this gloss otherwise the gloss might highlight dry patches. Still, according to its price, it is just an amazing gloss.
