My Experience with Coloressence Rustique Liplicious Gloss:

The lip gloss comes packed in a black cardboard box. The product description, ingredients list along with some other necessary details are mentioned at the back of the box. The lip gloss tube is a squarely shaped plastic tube that bears the brand’s tagline on the front and other details on its back.

The shade name is mentioned at the base of the tube. These lip glosses come with color-coded base that helps to spot the shade very easily from makeup stash. The tube has a black screw on cap that has a flat applicator attached with it. The soft foam applicator helps with précise application. The cap fits very securely and makes this tube leak-proof. The applicator wand is neither too short nor too long. The soft sponge applicator helps to distribute the color evenly on the lips. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

Let’s talk about the shade “Rustique.” It is a beautiful rust-brown kind of shade as its name suggests. The shade is gorgeous and it brightens up my dull face instantly. This shade has some warmer undertones. The lip gloss has fine micro shimmers in it that are barely noticeable on the lips. It just adds nice wet look to the lip gloss. I had already mentioned in my previous posts that I absolutely love these lip glosses for their pigmentation. I love how pigmented these lip-glosses are! These are just amazing in terms of pigmentation. Just one swipe of this lip gloss gives a semi-opaque color to the lips. Just two-three swipes are good enough to hide my pigmented lips nicely.

The texture of the lip gloss is buttery smooth and creamy. It glides smoothly on the lips almost like a dream without any tugging or pulling of the lips. It feels comfortable on the lips. The formula is non sticky and does not feel heavy or waxy upon layering. The color spreads evenly on the lips without getting patchy. The lip gloss sets to a beautiful glossy finish. The formula is very moisturizing in nature. It keeps my lips moisturized and nourished for pretty long. It provides some sort of hydration to my lips that makes it even friendlier for me these days as I am facing extremely dry lips issues from quite sometime. The color does not settle into the fine lines of the lips. Though, it does not smudge heavily but the color bleeds a little from the outer corners of the after a full meal and the outer lip line gets a little messy at the end of the day. The lip gloss has a nice and non-bothering fragrance in it. But, those sensitive noses might find this smell a little bothering, as it is quite strong. Being a lip gloss, it has the tendency to transfer to mugs and other stuff crazily. I personally do not like lipsticks that transfer much but I love the shades from this collection too much that I can totally ignore this thing.

It lasted on my lips easily for some 5 hours or so with a little fading. The lip gloss survives little snacking but it does not survive meals and fades away from the inner sides of the lips. The color is easy to remove and this lip gloss does not stain the lips as well. Overall, these lip glosses offer great quality at a decent price tag. I really did not expect these lip glosses from Coloressence to work pretty nicely.
