This is the review of a dark red shade from ColourPop’s ‘Lippie Stix’ range; this shade is called ‘Bichette’. Yeah, the name is kind of cheeky! I have used a couple of their products and I can say that they make great quality makeup products at a budget price. The shade, Bichette, is a dark red with maroon undertones and this belongs to the matte range.

However, we’re not trying to be a bossy pants and tell you creative lovelies what to do. So, if you want to create an Ombre lip look or something, have fun mixing and matching & do your thang! MATTE FINISH Full coverage, superrr long wearing, ultra-comfortable & seriously loaded with pigment in a matte finish.

Packaging:
The lippie stix comes in a cardboard box. The outer casing is made of plastic and has a protective cap. I really like the twist-up mechanism which is really smooth and it’s quite travel friendly as I have one or two in my vanity bag all the time.

My Experience with ColourPop Bichette Matte Lippie Stix:

I have been really impressed with the products this brand has on offer with only a few exceptions. I can’t believe someone could offer such great quality makeup at this price. These products put NARS and MAC to shame!

Texture and application:
The texture is buttery smooth and glides on the lips without any pull or tug.

Pigmentation and Coverage:
The bullet deposits 95% pigments in the first swipe and I just need to press my lips to distribute it well. Layering it doesn’t flake or appear cakey. This lippie gives 100% coverage to my moderately pigmented lips and makes them look lush and flawless.

Shade and Finish:
This is a dark red shade that leans towards burgundy and maroon. It is a festive shade that looks great with western as well as with Indian traditional clothes.

Staying Power:
This lippie stix stays put for as long as you wish it to be there, but it does break down with oily food with only mild transfer to cups or cutlery.

Is it comfortable to wear?
It is a matte finish but it’s more of a creamy-matte than a bone-dry matte. It wears comfortably without any drying issues.

Fragrance:
The lippie has no noticeable smell to it and that is how I like my lippies to be! 😉
