Coola Classic Face Sunscreen SPF 30 Review

Hope everyone is looking forward for the weekend knocking on the door!  I am finally getting back into the groove of writing reviews after quite some time 🙂 I would start off with the products that I have really liked using. The review for COOLA Classic Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 had been long overdue. I have gone through multiple tubes of this product. My preferred sunscreens are the ones, which can also double up as a moisturizer. This product was a chance discovery and it perfectly fit the bill.

COOLA Classic Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Packaging:
The packaging of the sunscreen is very appealing as it comes in vibrant blue plastic tube with a neon blue cap. The sunscreen is white in color. It is extremely lightweight with a mild cucumber fragrance. The fragrance immediately fades away after application.

My Experience with Coola Classic Face Sunscreen SPF 30:

The sunscreen is extremely lightweight and gets immediately absorbed. After application, the sunscreen does not feel greasy or gives an oily look on the face. The product mentions that it should be ideally used 15 minutes before you step out in the sun, though I usually end up forgetting this rule 😛 It contains moisturizing agents in the form of linseed and primrose oil. However, I have very dry skin and the sunscreen does not provide enough moisturization for my skin. Hence I usually layer it over my skin cream and it blends well.

Though the sunscreen is specifically targeted for face, I have also used it on my hands in the time of need. I really like that the sunscreen does not leave behind any white residue. As the sunscreen is broad spectrum, it provides protection from UVA and UVB rays. The product mentions about being infused with Organic Acai oil and plankton extracts for anti-aging benefits.

The product boasts of 70% inactive organic ingredients, which is beneficial for the skin. Since it is hypoallergenic, that makes it suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. It is also paraben free which is an added bonus. The product mentions about being unscented, but I did find a faint cucumber fragrance. However, the fragrance is extremely mild which fades immediately. I also liked the fact that I did not have any difficulty in layering my foundation over the sunscreen.

It is not a water-resistant sunscreen, as it requires reapplication after being in the pool or the hot sun. The product claims to be a multitasking product. I found it very useful as a daily sunscreen with good coverage of decent SPF factor.

• Dry skin would need additional moisturization.
• Though it contains anti-aging ingredients, did not observe significant changes.
• Not a water-resistant sunscreen.
• Specifically targeted for face use only.

Would I Repurchase Coola Classic Face Sunscreen SPF 30?
I really like this product and would continue to use it until I find a suitable replacement. I also highly recommend it if you are looking for a light weight and effective sunscreen.
