My Experience with CōTZ Face for Natural Skin Tones SPF 40:
Whenever we step out from our places, every person who wants to protect their skin from sun’s harmful rays applies a sunscreen. Since we ladies need an extra touch of radiance, we want some kind of tinted moisturiser too. This need gave a flare to the cosmetic companies to produce such sunscreens that carry added feature of a tinted moisturiser. CōTZ Face for Natural Skin Tones SPF 40 is one such product that has SPF 40 along with a lightly tinted, sheer matte finish moisturiser. The packaging of this sunscreen/tinted moisturizer is simple. It comes in a plastic, squeezable tube which makes it a travel friendly product.
Exploring the product details, CōTZ claims that it contains natural mineral complex with zinc oxide & titanium dioxide. It also states that CōTZ doesn’t sting eyes being a mineral sunscreen and acts like a thousand mirrors against the sun rays. The texture is really thick and creamy. I have got it in the shade medium. The swatch looks really dark but after blending, it got absorbed within seconds without leaving any tint behind.
It settles into a translucent and matte finish without any visible change in complexion. However, I couldn’t see any radiance on my skin after application. It contains SPF 40, which makes it a really good sunscreen. The product is non-greasy on skin yet provides ample moisture to dry skin. Since I have an oily-combination skin with active oil glands in t-zone, it makes my t-zone shiny after 3-4- hours when the weather is really hot. However, this will work fine in winters and monsoon. Suitable to all skin types buy oily skin may skip it in summer.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend CōTZ Face for Natural Skin Tones SPF 40?
I don’t think this is a must buy product. Actually, I wish it had some added tint to it which would provide radiance, improve complexion a bit and lighten spots on the skin. There are several other products available in the market that complies to my requirements, so I won’t repurchase this.

Now this is something I have never ever heard of Sumera! Even though this one is not a great product, I have learnt something new today- sunscreen and tinted moisturizers don’t work well together, atleast this one doesn’t 😛
