Blushes are a new entry to my makeup. I always thought that they only added to the time required for doing the makeup. Until one day I went to a MUA for a professional help. I realized that the blush made me look as if I was blushing. No wonder they ARE called blushes. Now even the simplest of my makeup is not complete without a blush. All I can say now is I love blushes.

What I think about Covergirl Cheekers Blush in True Plum:

The cheekers blush comes in a small rectangular plastic case with a see through lid. The packing is nothing out of the ordinary. The case contains the blush and a flat brush. It contains some kind of artificial fragrance which wears off quickly

The colour of the blush, I think, is more mauvish than plum. But it suits my cool skin tone pretty well. The texture of the blush is very fine with makes it really easy to blend. The pigmentation of this blush is really great. It contains very fine shimmer particles with gives a great glow to the face.

I use a very small amount to give me a flushed look. The colour is buildable but I am more into natural look. The one thing I really like about this blush is that it does not enhance the blemishes on my cheeks like some of the blushes do. The lasting power of the blush is pretty good. It lasts for a good 4-5 hours.

Since it also contains a brush let’s talk about it. I am really disappointed with the brush. It is flat brush which is completely unsuitable for blending. The bristles are really stiff and rough. I haven’t even bothered to get the brush out of the plastic.
