CoverGirl Cheekers Blusher in Cinnamon Stick Review

Hello shweets,

Hope everyone is keeping well! I know you are probably thinking by the title, that I am crazy, because majority of the things I review are either blushes or perfumes! I’m sorry; I just cannot help my obsession with them! Blushes have always been my favorite make-up product ever since I’ve started using make-up. I just like how they can brighten up your face in a jiffy!! From drab to fab, that’s what they do to your face!  Getting to the point, this blush has been my favorite for ages…It actually belonged to my sister, but you know me, I just take things from her and never return them! 😛 The blush is called Cinnamon Stick from CoverGirl.

Price: I’m unsure of the price though. I think it’s priced at 4.49$

Packaging: Even though, I keep blabbering about the importance of cute packaging, this somehow caught my attention,it wasn’t the packaging that caught my eye this time, it was the blush itself!! The packaging I wouldn’t say is bad, it’s tiny and compact making it easy to carry around! The bottom is black, comes with a transparent lid and a teeny weenie brush!! The newer packaging is way better, I feel!

Color: The pictures are evidence to my love for this baby; it is a beautiful peachy coral color with the slightest amount of shimmer in it!! I don’t think I’ve ever hit pan any product except compacts and my Collection 2000 bronzer! But I just cannot stop using this blush; it flatters my skin tone like nobody’s business.. The tiny shimmer in it isn’t very prominent, but works well as a highlight. The color is pretty similar to NARS Orgasm, Sleek Rose Gold and MAC Margin Frost blushes. So, if you are fond of those, you will end up liking this one too!

Color pay-off: The color pay-off is decent; I wouldn’t say it’s top of the world, because it isn’t. It’s neither too loud nor too muted; you can however layer up according to your preference.

Texture: The texture of this blush is incredible, even with shimmer in it; it doesn’t feel gritty or chalky at all. In fact, it glides on the skin really smooth and blends in very well. I love love the texture of this baby!

Staying power: I wouldn’t expect a 24-hour staying capacity out of it; I like the staying power, because I do not wear makeup longer than that anyway!
