Today, I am going to review the Clean foundation for normal skin from CoverGirl.

There are in total 11 shades available, which I found really nice. You can have your perfect match!

Packaging:
The product comes in a quite heavy glass bottle without any pump. It is not so much travel-friendly and because it does not have a pump , I find it very unhygienic to use and also it is a pain to get the product out.

Price:
CAD 7 for 30 ml of the product.

My experience with CoverGirl Clean Liquid Makeup for Normal Skin:

The texture of the product is neither too runny or liquidy nor too creamy and thick, probably because it is water-based. The foundation has a very strong scent, that of an ayurvedic medicine! Though I personally like that scent but it might bother some people, as it lingers on for quite some time and is quite strong. The foundation comes in 3 variants- for oily skin, for sensitive skin and for normal skin. I have pretty dry skin, so I got the one in normal. One thing I really like about it is that it comes in a variety of shades and you can get the one which matches your skin tone perfectly. I am in the shade 110 classic ivory, which has a slight pink undertone and matches my skin perfectly and feels like my second skin. It gives light to medium coverage and you might still need to use a concealer. But the coverage is quite build-able and it does not look cakey.

It gives a dewy finish but still the skin needs to be moisturized well before otherwise dry patches may appear; it is not so much moisturizing. It is better to moisturize and prime the skin, for better results. Also, it doesn’t break me out ( I have pretty sensitive skin though) It lasts for about 5-6 hours, after setting it with powder. And because it is water-based, it gives a very natural finish and also feels very light on the skin, hence it is THE foundation you need in summers! Also it does not melt down when I sweat, which is also a plus point. I generally use it with my real techniques expert face brush, and it gives a very natural, dewy finish and blends really well. But for a more air-brushed finish, it is better to apply it with a beauty blender or a wet sponge. The only thing I do not like about it, is it’s packaging. It comes in a very heavy glass bottle, which is not at all travel-friendly. And I wish it had a pump to get the product out.

• No pump; getting the product out gets quite tedious.

Would I re-purchase CoverGirl Clean Liquid Makeup for Normal Skin ?
Yes! I quite like it. Especially in summers when you need something very light on the skin, easy to blend and which wouldn’t melt down.

Yes people, get your hands on this foundation and you would not regret buying it; it is a value for money product! Good for people who want something which feels light on the skin, looks natural, at the same time makes the skin tone even, gives a glow and does not melt down in summers, without burning a hole in their pocket! Great for everyday use!
