Today, I am back with another review of the Covergirl Oh Sugar! Lip Balm. I have 5 of these and I have to say I love wearing these all the time, whenever I don’t want to wear lipsticks. I have reviewed the shades the “soda” and “punch” previously and here is the review of the cutest shade called “sprinkle” 🙂

My Experience with Covergirl Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Vitamin Infused Lip Balm – Sprinkle:
Packaging: The lip balm looks super cute in a glossy bright pink square shaped packaging with the name written over it. The name “oh sugar” is very cute. The lip balm packaging is colour coded and the name is mentioned at the base. The packaging looks more like a lipstick and not a lip balm, which is great. It has a twist mechanism which functions nicely. The cap also closes with a click hence, no worries of the bullet getting ripped. The lip balm is very handy and fits in the pocket too. But at times, the bullet of these lip balms break if too much pressure is applied. But, the price is pretty high for a lip balm. I think we would get such lip balms at a much lower cost.
Texture, Shade and Feel on the Lips: The lip balm feels very balmy and buttery on the lips. It glides super smoothly on my lips like any other lips balm. The texture is very soft and during my initial use, I opened up more from the bullet and it scrapped off from the base, so yes, open it carefully. The shade “sprinkle” is a gorgeous bright pink colour. Actually, it is not very bright and not very light too. The pink looks very natural and it makes my lips look healthier.
The pink is a very common pink and everyone has this pink lip balm with them, so nothing great with the shade but, it is super cute. I love this more than any other shade from the 5 shades that I picked up. It is highly pigmented and gives a nice boost of colour. It is suitable for all skin tones and every-day use. It does not feel heavy at all; it feels light on the lips and provides instant hydration. It gives a perfect colour, proper hydration and a glossy shine too.
Staying Power: The lip balm stays for an average time of 2-3 hours on my lips with the colour fading after 1 hour. If I eat or drink, then most of the colour will go like any other lip balm. It is a nice lip balm which I love using regularly but, it is pretty expensive.
Conclusion:
They have a similar range of lipsticks, they will be much more pigmented so, I will try those!

Cons of Covergirl Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Vitamin Infused Lip Balm – Sprinkle:
- The tint becomes lighter after an hour.
- Expensive for a lip balm.
- Cheaper alternatives of the same shade available and it is easily dupable.
- They test on animals.

I already have 5 of these, so buying more is no way possible. I would switch to some other brand now! If you want a highly pigmented lip balm then go for these.
