So, I will be wrapping up the series of reviews on Covergirl Oh Sugar lip balms in my collection with this shade “Jelly.” It is probably the darkest shades of the ones that I have picked. I am not much into mauvy or purple shades, and I still wouldn’t pick such lipsticks, but this lip balm tempted me 🙂 Read on for more detailed review.

My Experience with CoverGirl Jelly Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Vitamin Infused Balm:
The lip balm looks super cute in a glossy bright mauvy pink square shaped packaging. The lip balm packaging is colour coded. This lip balm looks more like a lipstick. It has a twist-up mechanism which functions well. The cap also closes with a click hence no worries of the bullet getting nicked.
The lip balm is very handy and fits in the pocket too, but chances are that the bullet would come off the base if more pressure is applied. The price is pretty high for a lip balm, I think you can get such lip balms at lower prices.
This lip balm feels very balmy and buttery on the lips. It glides super smoothly on my lips, just like any other lip balm. The texture is very soft and during my initial use, I opened up a bit too much and it got off from the base, so yes, open it with a little care.
“Jelly” is a mauvy-pink lip balm which is very different from the usual red and pink lip balms. It is a very pretty and a nicely pigmented shade. It would complement all skin tones beautifully.
For women who do not like stark mauve lipsticks, this is the perfect shade to try because it is a pretty blend of mauve and hot pink, and that makes it a very beautiful color. I really love this shade and wear this the most.
The staying power is an average of 2-3 hours. If I eat or drink, then most of the colour will disappear like any other lip balm, but it leaves a light stain on the lips, which stays on until I remove it. It is a nice lip balm which I love using regularly but it is pretty expensive for a lip balm as I said.

- Stays for an average time of 2-3 hours on the lips.
Cons of CoverGirl Jelly Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Vitamin Infused Balm:
- The tint becomes light after an hour.
- Expensive for a lip balm.
- They test on animals.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend CoverGirl Jelly Colorlicious Oh Sugar! Vitamin Infused Balm?
I think I already have 5 of these, so I am not going to buy more. They have a similar range of lipsticks, they will be much more pigmented, so I will try those!If you want a highly pigmented lip balm, then go for these Covergirl lip balms.
