I hope you are all doing great! Today I am back with a review of a lipstick, which I consider is the most ideal nude color in my lipstick stash. Now we are getting so many bright lipstick colors in the Indian market that I hardly reach out to try any nude color while purchasing one. I mostly ignore these kind of colors. Since, I am a bright lipstick girl; I don’t have many of these shades. There came a phase in life, when I learnt about smoky eyes make up. It was at that point in time, I realized that I should pair smoky eyes with nude lips. While browsing through the overwhelming shades range of Covergirl lip perfection colors in one of the pharmacy shops, I came across this one and I picked it up thinking, it might be the right color. Let’s see how it worked!

Price – $ 6.99 for 0.12 oz

Shade – The color, Delish is a creamy medium peach in color, in my opinion, ideal color for smoky looks. It has little moisture shine to it which I like as it gives my lips fuller look.

Texture – It is creamy, but not much moisturizing. Even though it is creamy, it does not bleed or feather. It has a sweet/vanilla smell which you get while applying the lipstick. It fades away after a few minutes of application. I find it okay, but this might not be to everyone’s’ liking.

Longevity – This shade is lighter, hence it does not stain the lips as compared to the darker or brighter colors in this range. It also does not survive meals, although can survive light meals and lasts approximately 3 hours.

Packaging – It comes in a rectangular tube, with the shade color in the base of the tube. This makes it easier to search for the shade if you have a big lipstick collection. The name of the shade is mentioned on the base of the tube. I loved the packaging as it looks very sleek to me.

1) Ideal color for smoky eyes or for girls who likes subtle colors on their lips
2) Packaging is good, with the shade color in the bottom of the tube, making it easier to find the color.
3) Price tag is affordable.
4) Doesn’t stain the lips (might be con for some)
5) Travel-Friendly

Cons of CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick – Delish

1) This shade doesn’t last long.
2) It is not moisturizing as it claims.
3) Availability in India (I have seen the exact packaging in Max Factor though)

Would you repurchase CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick – Delish ?

No. I think, this shade will last me long, but next time I would buy similar color but a long lasting one.
