CoverGirl lipsticks are known for their creamy and smooth texture. I bought a CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in the shade “Precious” as I liked the coral look of the lipstick.

My Experience with Covergirl Precious Lip Perfection Lipstick:

The packaging of the CoverGirl lipstick is really nice and attractive. The lipstick is housed in a square lipstick holder; the end of the holder is transparent and represents the color of the lipstick. The cap is long and black in color, the inside of the cap is pink in color. Overall, I like the unique packaging of this lipstick.

The lipstick texture is really smooth and glides really well. The company claims that the lipstick is enriched with Shea butter and every day usage of the lipstick will make your lips smooth and soft in seven days. I tried this lipstick for a week and I do see a noticeable difference in the texture of my lips, although they are still far from being soft.

The lipstick is quite creamy and hence it does not last very long. The lipstick has shimmer in it and looks quite frosty. The biggest disappointment I had was that, although the lipstick shade and the packaging portrays it as a more peachy type shade, on application the base of the lipstick has pink tones.

The lipstick is not enough pigmented and when you rub it in a lot, it looks very frosty.

Pros of Covergirl Precious Lip Perfection Lipstick:

• Very smooth and glides easily.
• Contains Shea butter which is great for moisturizing lips.
• Retails at a very low price.

Cons of Covergirl Precious Lip Perfection Lipstick:

• It is quite frosty.
• It does not last long.
• Not pigmented enough.
• The shade on the packaging and actual application differs a lot.

Final Verdict:

This lipstick although moisturizing is quite misleading when it comes to the shade. I don’t recommend this lipstick because of the frostiness and low pigmentation.
