I came across Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation, sometime last year and fell in love with this cute and sturdy packaging. At that time I just picked it without doing any research and have been using it pretty much the whole time.

Product Claims:
Get insta-gorgeous with Ready Set Gorgeous! This liquid foundation’s oil-free formula provides medium coverage to even skin tone and cover imperfections. The result is a flawless, natural look that lasts all day. The built-in powder system fights against shine, pulling oil and sweat away from your face instead of trapping them under your foundation.

How to Apply?
Using a disposable sponge wedge or clean fingertips, dab a small amount of foundation on the center of your cheeks. Blend outward toward the edges of your face, concentrating on uneven areas, and decreasing intensity toward the hairline.

My Experience with Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation:

Packaging:
As you can see in the pictures the packaging is very lovely and girly. The foundation is in a tube form, which makes it very sturdy, travel friendly and does not take much space. Though, the shade numbers are listed in the front, the shade names are on the back.

Color:
The shade I have 210 “Medium-Beige”, it is a good match to my skin tone, though I would not say it is perfect. I would recommend mixing two different shades of this foundation to get that perfect color. The shade range is good for fair-medium complexion people and most of the Indian skin tone would find a good match.

Texture and Consistency:
This is a liquid foundation and has a very thin, runny consistency, which makes the foundation very easy to blend. It does claim to be able to blend with fingers, but I would recommend using a flat-top brush or beauty blender for a non-streaky, flawless look. It feels very light weight on the skin, which I am sure oily/combination skin beauties would love.

Coverage:
The foundation has a medium coverage and sets to a velvet matte finish. The best part about it is it looks very natural and fresh on the face. It does control oil very well and gives an evened out glowing skin. But, blemishes and dark spots does need to be covered by a concealer.  On applying the second layer, the foundation builds up well without giving a cakey look.

Lasting Power:
Surprisingly, it lasts a good 5-6 hours without a primer and you can make it last even longer with a primer underneath. People with very oily skin would need to blot and touch up their T-Zone though.

• Light weight foundation. Glides on the skin giving velvet matte finish.

• Coverage is pretty good (Medium). Covers the redness and even out the skin.
• Looks very natural on skin.
• A little goes a long way.
• Builds very well.

Cons of Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation:

• Does not last all day as claimed.
• Limited shade selection. Have to mix and match two different shades to get a perfect match.
• Would not recommend to dry skin people.

Verdict:
This is an amazing foundation for very oily to combination skin with a good coverage, light-weight texture and very good price range. People who are looking for an oil-free everyday foundation must give this a shot.
