Today, I want to share with you my thoughts on the Covergirl TruBlend Bronzer. I love contouring and bronzing, so I picked up this baked bronzer from Covergirl to try out. I really like “baked” makeup products as I feel that makeup brushes pick the correct amount of product because of their dome shape. So, let’s see if this product met my expectations or not.

My Experience with Covergirl TruBlend Bronzer:
Packaging: This Covergirl baked bronzer comes in a square compact with the dome-shaped product pan. It does not come with a mirror or a brush. It has a bronze-y shiny rim around the top of the lid and the name of the product and the brand name on it are mentioned on the lid as well in white print. The compact in which this product is placed is super sturdy and the lid closes with a click sound. It does not come in a box outer packaging, but has a seal on the opening of the lid which assures us that the product has not been messed with. I like the packaging a lot as I don’t really care about the brush or mirror and since its sturdy enough, its travel friendly.
Color and Pigmentation: This shade is a beautiful light brown-ish shade with bronze-y golden undertones. It has a beautiful sheen to it which by no means is frosty or shimmery. It is not a matte bronzing powder at all which it does not claim to be either. I would say this product is more of a highlighting bronzer! I use it as a “bronzer topper” to blend my contour powder well and add glow to the face.
Texture: The texture of this bronzer is extremely soft and smooth. It’s like a buttery finish powder, if you know what I mean. Since it does not have any shimmers in it, the texture is not gritty at all. It offers a beautiful sheen to the face and blends like a dream.
Longevity: The staying power of this baked bronzer from Covergirl is average. It does stay on the skin for a good 5 hours but after that it starts to fade away like any powder with a sheen will. Since I use it over my powder bronzer, it does fade away after a while, but I am not complaining as all products of this texture and consistency will behave the same. Also, it serves my need well, so I am happy.
Quality: The overall quality of this bronzer is pretty darn good. It does what it claims and stands true to them. I like using this product when my face looks dull or on days that no matter what you do, you look like you just woke up – sleepy and tired! It adds back life to the face and makes it glow-y and beautiful. It definitely offers the sun-kissed look that we all yearn for. All in all, I am quite impressed!

Hell yes!!! Who does not want a glow-y complexion with a subtle highlight and that gives a sun-kissed look to the skin? I would recommend this product to all and I am pretty sure everyone can find out how this product suits them the best.
