Hey ladies!

The summers have started and have brought with them numerous hair problems. During my Doha trip, I was amazed to see the Indian giant, Dabur, with an entire new range of hair products that are, unfortunately, not available in India. I really needed to have my hands on a few products. So, let’s get started.

My Experience with Dabur Amla Anti Dandruff Hair Cream:

The packaging disappoints me a lot! It comes in cubical type container with twist cap over it. Once the cap is on, the overall appearance is like a cube. The cap over it is tight, but the product spills out from the container during travel. The container mouth is wide enough to take the product out using all five fingers. The product has beautiful cyan colored creamy texture. The cream is very smooth and disappears once applied on the hair. It has sweet, mild fragrance.

My scalp tends to get dandruff prone in summer due to excess sweat and dirt. The product works very well as an anti dandruff treatment, to some extent. I use it twice a week after my hair wash. It has a mild fragrance to it that last almost 2 days once the product is applied. The consistency of the cream is very smooth and disappears once applied. But, it leaves my hair a bit greasy after application. Moreover, for about two days after application my scalp remains dandruff free, but from third day it starts getting itchy and dandruff reappears on its surface. But, until I find a permanent cure, I am happy with it.

Yogurt and lemon are the key ingredients and are considered very useful because of their anti dandruff properties. It has been about a month now since I started using this product. And, I can confidently say that it has degraded the dandruff and dead cells from my scalp to a great extent, but it hasn’t cured it completely.
