Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream

Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream

Hello Beauties!

Today, I shall review a product from my basic essentials for winter – “Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream.”

Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream

I got the small pack that you see as a gift in the Suhaag items in Teej (the bangles present were also among the gift pack). The line “with natural rose extracts” caught my attention and when I used it, I was pretty happy with the product and now this is my second BIG pack. The small pack is so cute, I carry it in my purse because I usually forget to put lotion or cream on my hands while moving out. This pack takes very less space and a little of the cream does the job of moisturising my hands very well. I keep refilling the small pack as and when needed.

Price:

Rs. 90/- for 100 gm.  Bonus: I got a Dabur Gulabari bottle of 120 ml free with this pack!!

Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream

Product Description:

Dabur Gulabari moisturising cold cream with natural rose extracts derives its goodness from Dabur Gulabari rose water. It is enriched with natural rose oil and key actives which gently work n your skin giving it a rose like glow. Regular use helps your skin in 3 ways:
1) Maintains moisture balance.
Rose oil and glycerine help maintain the skin hydration balance giving it a soft and supple feel without leaving it oily.
2) Protects skin: Provitamin E helps protect your skin against skin-damaging elements, leaving it soft and untouched.
3) Gives radiant skin: Natural rose extracts help remove dryness and dullness giving your skin a rose like radiance.

Ingredients:

Aqua containing extract of rose, liquid Paraffin, Cetearyl alcohol, Provitamin E, Shea butter, Sesame oil, Glycerin, Isopropyl myristate, Sodium PCA, Dimethicone, Petrolleum jelly, Fragrance, Rose oil, ceteth 20, Steareth 21, Glyceryl Stearate, Stearyl Stearate, Streareth 2, Sorbitan mono stearate, Acrylates/C 10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, Disodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Tetradibutyl Pentaerithrityl hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben, Isobutyl Paraben, CI 16255.

Dabur Gulabari Cold Cream

The cream looks pink in colour and is veryyyy soft in texture, gets absorbed into the skin as you keep rubbing, just that it takes time to get absorbed. The skin has a subtle shine to it when just applied.

My Take on Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream:

I liked the cream a lot and would definitely recommend it to normal to dry skin people.   The only thing that I am going to change this winter is my habit of using just one cream/lotion for the entire winter season; this time I am going to try out different creams/lotions and body butters (Courtesy IMBB).

Dabur

Pros of Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream:

  • True to claim no. 1, moisturizes very well.
  • True to claim no. 2, doesn’t give a chip-chip feel.
  • Claim no. 3 (partially true), gives a subtle glow to the skin. The dullness of the skin in winters goes away totally.
  • Smells just like Dabur Gulabari (I like that smell).
  • Affordable.

Cons of Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream:

  • The subtle glow that it gives to the skin is not long lasting. It just stays for a few hours.
  • Might not suit beauties with oily skin.
  • Preferable only for winters, after winters it might feel very greasy for my skin.
  • Needs a bit more rubbing to get absorbed, doesn’t get easily absorbed like Nivea blue dibbi.
  • Once you wash your hands, the moisturising feel goes away.

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5.

Will I Repurchase Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Cold Cream?

I think the product is decent enough. I would have repurchased it, but as I said earlier, courtesy IMBB, I am going to try different things this winter.

Take care!

  5. nidhi, although it sounds pretty nice but the ingredients list is quite scaring me. 😐 btw you use it for your face or hands and feet?

glad this one is working for you. 🙂

  6. Nice review dear! But I felt this too greasy for me even in winters… I ultimately used this for my feet to finish it off! 🙂

  7. nice review niddhi
once i bought d small jar to use it as a lip balm but it was nt at all moisturising & gave a dry fel after few mins. :scream:

  8. I too used this cream & its a so so. Yes, it moisturizes & gives a glow to d skin, but both these things r temporary.
As long as u hv d cream on, thr’s glow, otherwise not! When I apply it at night & get up in d morning, my face feels dry & taut, & I need to reapply it.
So even though its cold cream & I hv combination/dry skin, but it didnt work for me. 🙁
