Dabur Vatika Enriched Almond Hair Oil Review

Hellooooooo girlies!!!

Today I would like to share my views about Dabur Vatika Enriched Almond Hair Oil which I had been using before hair loss attacked me. Genetically, the only good point I can think of my hair is that they are silky. I’m treating my hair fall for almost an year. Before that Dabur haircare range was my HG product for years, first coconut & then almond hair oil followed by Dabur Vatika shampoo & I’m done.

I’m suffering from hair fall for quite a long time & trying every way to combat it. The problem got severe when I started consuming triphala for good hair suggested by an old lady in my neighborhood. Actually triphala doesn’t suit my mom so that’s maybe the reason it didn’t suited me. It has amla which is a boon for hair problems, maybe the other two ingredients or their combination isn’t good for me. 🙁

After so much hair loss I moved towards the professional treatment so kept it aside & use occasionally.

My Take on the Product
I was using this product regularly before having professional treatment for my hair loss. The product is mild, yellowish-colored liquid & provides nourishment for hair growth. One may opt this if not comfortable with strong aroma of Bajaj Almond Drops hair oil. The fragrance is mild. It’s just a regular hairoil don’t keep high expectations with it for treating hairfall. Overall, it’s an average product decently priced, comes from a trusted brand & suitable for everyday nourishment. The product is non sticky & comes off easily in a single wash. The chemical content of oil makes one apprehensive about using them.

The oil comes in a flip cap bottle & more oil comes out if you’re not much conscious. Secondly, design of cap is not good some product always remains there near the nozzle & seeps out if bottle is not placed as it supposed to be.

Dabur Vatika Hair Oil

As I moved towards other hair care products so I use it occasionally hence I’m still left with this much quantity. Product lasts for 5-6 months if used regularly thrice a week.

Dabur Vatika Hair Oil review

 not expensive
 non-sticky
 contains herbal additives like Hibiscus, Olives, Muskroot known to nourish hair
 lasts for good 5-6 months
 mild fragrance
 comes in different quantities so can be purchased accordingly
 Dabur is a herbal brand
 does nothing for mild or severe hair fall
 does not treats dandruff despite of having lemon oil
 packaging is not travel friendly
 more than required quantity of oil comes out when used for first few times.
 having chemical contents
 designing near the cap I don’t know who suggested that to Dabur its worst!!! :waiting:

Should I re-purchase No. Actually now I don’t prefer hair oils having high mineral oil content which makes them non-greasy. Mineral oil has no positive or negative effect on hair rather one compromises with the goodness of pure hairoil. I don’t mind chip-chip of virgin hairoil I just need 100% pure content for my hair. :haanji:

Recommendations beauties with normal problem free hair just need nourishment & cannot compromise with non-greasy part might give it a try.

  1. even i dont like no sticky oil containing lotss mineral oil, I would prefer chip chipi sarso ka tel, sarson ka tel makes hair sooooo black, I love using it many times !

  2. I am really not into not sticky oils. I am just not comfortable using them because I guess oil might be the only non chemical (y) thing going on my head. Glad you did this review 🙂

  3. thnx keirti  … i was thinking of giving this one a try after completing on bajaj almond drops… but i love my champi :haanji: …so i think i would stick to bajaj n parachute coconut oil…strong smell is not an issue for me.. i actually love it :pigtail: :pigtail:

  4. same here. even i hate the non sticky oils. as it is our hair gets nourishment only once or twice a week usmein bhi if we end up using such things then we r bound to face hair related problems.i toh prefer our good old parachute or sometimes sarson ka tel also. O:)

  5. thanku girls… n
@jyoti-ya diluting shampoo is an option alternatively u can apply henna mixed with lemon juice or diluted vinegar before shampooing it’ll absorb extra oil n as hair is oily to henna will not give its color.. this way u save ur shampoo n nourish ur hair too :waytogo: :waytogo: :waytogo:

  6. me using hair oil suggested by ayurvedic doctor n its doing its job well name is really really funny by the way… KESH KING from SBS Biotech :methinks:
