Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil Review

How are you all? The weather is now so beautiful with rain pouring in. This weather change brings some beauty problems with it and one of them is hair fall. I am losing a lot of hair strands each day and blaming the season for that. I was looking for a good hair oil to control hair fall. I saw a new variant of Dabur Vatika Hair Oil. Dabur is a trusted brand and I have used Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil earlier so decided to try this new variant of theirs. Today, I am going to review Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil.

My Experience with Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil:

This hibiscus enriched hair oil comes in a bright red and green coloured plastic bottle. The packaging is same as the Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil. There is a nozzle which needs to be pierced in order to use the hair oil. This hair oil has a strong herbal smell. It reminds me of some incense stick. My husband pulls my leg saying whenever you apply this oil I feel like I am sitting in a temple. I guess that is the case with all Ayurvedic oil. The fragrance becomes faint after sometime but does not go off completely. The texture is light and not much sticky. The appearance is transparent. I have been using it for almost 25-30 days. Every time I use this, my hair looks very shiny, silky, healthy and damage free.

Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil

Apart from oiling my hair, I use it with egg white or henna as hair mask for extra conditioning. After the shampoo wash and conditioning – my hair does not appear dry. But, I did not notice a significant decrease in hair fall after using Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil. So, this product does suit my hair while it does not work wonders.

It helps to treat damaged hair very well and transforms brittle hair into soft locks after using couple of times. It is easy to wash off and does not cause any build-up or stickiness after washing it.

About the hair growth, my hair is growing at a normal pace. It is an average hair oil which might control hair fall in the long run, I guess. If I had to bear such strong herbal fragrance, I would like to try other ayurvedic oils.

Pros of Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil:

• Easily available
• Contain herbal ingredients
• Light in texture
• Easy to wash off
• Makes my hair soft, shiny and silky
• Affordable

Cons of Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil:

• Strong herbal fragrance
• Hair growth was not really noticeable
• Not enough to control hair fall

Will I recommend / repurchase Dabur Vatika Hibiscus Enriched Coconut Oil?
No, I would prefer sticking to the basic Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil and not this one.

IMBB Rating:
3/5(just because for not worsening my hair fall).

Conclusion:
There are better hair oils in the market to control hair fall. I had stopped using one of them because of the strong fragrance but I guess, I would have to go back to it. I also realised that I can not rely on hair oil or shampoo alone for the hair fall control. I need to pay attention to my diet, hair treatments, etc. to solve all hair problems.
