Dabur Vatika Ultra Shine and Smooth Shampoo Review

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Lovelies…. :pompom:

Today, I’m sharing my views on my HG product for so many years, Dabur Vatika Ultra Shine & Smooth Shampoo. My Take on Dabur Vatika Ultra Shine & Smooth Shampoo:

I have grown up using this shampoo since last 8-9 years, yeah, its true, I swear on Dabur products as they claim to provide all natural and herbal components, which doesn’t cause harm in any way. Then, I came to know about product build-up and how could I forget my dandruff problem. After becoming aware, I started using other shampoos as well and the result is amazing.  Changing shampoos regularly does helps a lot. :haanji:

This shampoo is really mild and is available in various quantities from sachet to bottles to even bigger ones that I use.  I purchased this bottle due to the pump dispenser. :manicure: Before this one, I was using Head & Shoulders for quite a long time to the point that I thought it was not working on me anymore:-/

shampoo

The bottle is green in color, having pump dispenser at the top, have a closer look.  This bottle is different from the ones having lesser volume of the product; they have flip caps.

The shampoo has a beautiful pearly green color with a satiny texture and mild herbal fragrance. The consistency is runny. It lathers well and cleanses hair finely. For heavily oiled hair, you end up shampooing 2-3 times to get that clean and no chip-chip feeling. A lot of product is required and it doesn’t lather till dirt and oiliness is present in the scalp.  Now, you can imagine how mild this product is. :haanji:

It leaves the mild fragrance in the hair which goes off within a few hours of shampooing.

Coming to what it does, yeah, it does make my hair shiny and maintains the natural shine of my hair when used regularly. Results are not visible in first wash, so be patient. Being overtly mild, it suits colored hair. I did not use conditioner after this, still my hair felt soft and manageable.

Rest it does nothing.  It does have yogurt extracts, which I thought might work on my dandruff, but it didn’t. It neither checks hair fall nor does it claim to. :silly:

If you continue to use this product, it just works as a cleanser.  The shine that I get is kind of okay and stays, but I end up losing my hair strands gradually. :hunterwali:, hence switching it with other shampoos is required.

Pros :rose: of Dabur Vatika Ultra Shine and Smooth Shampoo:

:rose: mild shampoo.
:rose: trusted brand.
:rose: pearly green color and satin texture.
:rose: available in sachets and varying quantity even at general stores.
:rose: Fragrance is of herbal kind, which goes off within a few hours.
:rose: Contains herbal extracts, which imparts shine to rough and dull hair true to its claims.
:rose: pump packaging attracted me.
:rose: mild enough for chemically damaged and dull hair.

Cons of :deadrose: Dabur Vatika Ultra Shine & Smooth Shampoo:

:deadrose: Overtly mild and does not cleanse oily hair in first or second wash.
:deadrose: results are not really fast.
:deadrose: doesn’t work on dandruff or to control hair fall.
:deadrose: contains SLS.
:deadrose: lots of product is required, I used 3 sachets in one wash, which is roughly 20-25 ml.

IMBB Rating:

3/5 (for being mild ).

Should I Repurchase?

Yeah, I don’t mind once in a blue moon, but not on a regular basis as my basic hair problem is dandruff  and hairfall, so I concentrate on products targeting these issues.  These products are very strong at times and thus make the hair dull, so for restoring shine, I use this one or I maintain the shine in my hair using home-made products. Regular usage gives me severe hairfall. :spank:

Do I Recommend?

Yes, if you have very dull looking and severely damaged hair, you can give it a try and be a little patient to use it 4-5 times for visible results and its available in sachet form :waytogo:. That’s all folks, I will resume doing reviews after my end semester exams, as pre-examination blues have started haunting me and I have to do them well.

Till then, lots of love and bye bye. :-*

I miss you all lovelies :waaa: :waaa: :waaa:
