Ask IMBB Gang Daily Use Fairness Cream Suggestions: Ask IMBB

S. Juhinaaz asks:

Hi IMBB,

I just love your blog. I spend hours by looking your reviews up. I have a small problem. I have a typical south indian skin and I live in hostel. I don’t know what happened to my skin, it became too oily and too dark within a short span of time. I don’t know what to use. Please suggest me a daily use fairness cream. I need it very badly. I can’t go to parties with this problem. Please suggest me a cream which could make my skin look fair as I have oily skin.

Your help is awaited!

Thanks a bunch!

Try Lotus Whiteglow Emulsion, it doesnt make you fair in overnight but it will make your skin glow and it is suitable for combnation-oily skin…

I your skin has become oily, then u must surely try Revlon Touch and glow fairness cream. It is very good and not very expensive. U can check IMBB it has already reviewed here… :) HOpe it helps

I think you need to develop a proper cleansing/toning and moisturizing routine..this will def help your skin to breathe better and glow…also you can use homemade face packs of besan+turmeric to remove any tan..apart from this try a good night cream

I agree with Parita. Creams may help you but only to an extent. Try using face packs and scrub your face twice a week. VLCC Anti tan scrub is really good. Regular Cleansing and toning alone will make a huge difference to your complexion. For a daily cream, I recommend Banjaras Neem fairness cream. I have reviewed it here and I just love it. I use it daily with my sunscreen lotion. Its light so it would be good for your oily skin. It doesnt have spf though, so you should use a sunscreen over it.

Hi Juhinaaz, I don’t know about the fairness part, but Revlon Touch and Glow Advanced Fairness Day Cream is a good. It keeps the skin matte and does not cause any breakouts. Here;s the review http://makeupandbeauty.com/revlon-touch-and-glow-advanced-fairness-cream-review/

Also, using a compact for touchups will keep your skin matte.

I think Garnier Light is good for oily skinned people..coz it dries up a bit… :)

I’ve been using Lakme perfect radiance day creme since a few days. N trust me, it makes my skin total matte n gives an instant glow. Even i live in coastal area, so i know how it feels to have an oily face all around the day
