I am reviewing a perfume again and this time the latest launch by Davidoff and it’s called “hot water”.
Product Description and Notes:
Davidoff Hot Water arrives as a fiery oriental, masculine fragrance in September 2009 on the market. Top notes feature absynth and red basil, a heart introduces hot accords of pimento and patchouli, while a base encompasses styrax and benzoin.
Rs 3000 for 100ml (approx).
My Experience with Davidoff Hot Water Perfume:
As you all know by now that I am reviewing my brother’s fragrances and this one is not so loved by him as you can see the bottle is still pretty full. He said he wanted this fragrance to have more depth in comparison to light and refreshing “Cool Water” but it failed to deliver. So, if you are planning to buy this one don’t expect anything outstanding.
This fragrance does have a tendency to smell synthetic at times but that’s what he feels. It is a spicy fragrance and it’s a pity that is doesn’t last very long. He also thinks that the fragrance is a hit because of Cool Water’s affiliation with it and has nothing new to offer.
Like cool water this fragrance is not a “blind buy” you have to sniff it at a store before buying.
Pros of Davidoff Hot Water Perfume:
- Regular spicy fragrance.
- Stays for 4 hours.
- Doesn’t stain clothes.
- Cons of Davidoff Hot Water Perfume:
- Over – hyped.
- Not long lasting.
- Smells synthetic at times.
Will I Repurchase Davidoff Hot Water Perfume:
No ,“Hot Water” is not at all “HOT”.
