Off late I have been following and trying to make it my signature eye makeup- a golden smudge proof shadow like paint pots and then smudge a black liner pencil on it.I usually dont smoke out the lower lash line as I think it does not suit me well.I think it makes my eyes look big, no doubt but after watching Rati’s video I thought I should try smudging brown liner on the lower lash line more often. Anyway, this pencil is a staple in my collection as I can never have enough of black creamy eye liners that set to matte finish.Yes this is waterproof.

I think this brand is now more of less available around your Revlon,Bourjois, L’Oreal counters easily.the pricing is not so comfortable but the quality has not disappointed me so far.They have some amazing creamy pencils and this one too caught my eye when I saw how creamy and matte it goes.Remember it is not like the gel pencils like Faces solid black and the Lakme black last, this goes matte and creamy and slightly flaky and crumbly too but sets to a smudge resistant finish(not smduge proof)and sets to a matte finish which I love.

Another interesting thing about the pencil is the smduger and the sharpener it comes with.The smudger is tough sponge and quite soft to use, it is wobbly but it does its job well.When you lift and remove the smudger, the sharpener is present-just like the Lotus herbals lip liner sharpeners.The sharpener is perfect to get your pencil slim enough to get close to the lashes or else the blunt tip could be used to roughly define and then quickly smudge.


The pencils sets in 3o or more seconds so you need to smudge it fast if you may.I like to wait for it to set and wear a simple liner with it most of the times.Remember, it could be flaky while application and could crumble mildly as it is not a gel pencil.Overall, quite a nice matte black to own with a handy smudger and a sharpener as well.It does not tug but does not glide either, there is nothing annoying about the application so to say, it does a good job.It is quite long-lasting and I have not seen any disturbing smudging either.

The pencil is two-way retractable and is quite thick.You could use it on the waterline and lower lash line and then smudge for smokey eyes.I did not face any sensitivity issues so far, I have been using it for two weeks now.The pencil could fade on oily lids in say about 4-5 hours, could transfer too, so for oily lids, you know how the drill goes to mattify it slightly with powder but it is fairly long lasting and smudge-resistant once it sets.It is not the best black as I like gel pencils more but it is a jet black matte which is always of good use.You can try it.
