Deborah Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow in Hot Temptation Review

Deborah Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow in Hot Temptation

Hello lovelies,

Before I start up with my review I have to share a special thank you to all the beautiful ladies here. I was an occasional visitor of IMBB till few months back but from past 2 months I am totally hooked to it. Apart from the lovely and really useful posts, I sometimes wonder what wonderful people I have come across on this blog! I never knew I would meet such nice people through a virtual medium! It’s just like an extended close knit wonderful family!! Being new to this blog I’ve not been able to connect to many of the regular bee’s, but very soon I will…. A very special mention to Rati di, Neha di and Jomol di (I’m adding di because you guys are elder to me and as I mentioned the term extended family :D) and some of them who are of my age like Saloni and Triya…. I’m so much in love with your kind words and accepting new people like me. A big thanks to all of you and everyone associated with IMBB.

Coming on to the eyeshadow, this one was bought by my sister but she hardly ever uses it! she has a habit of buying stuff but never using them, so ultimately I am at profit a lot of times 😉 she’s a ‘only kohl’ person and moreover she’s just 20 and lives away from home for studies, so basically she doesn’t have enough time for extensive makeup.

The eyeshadow comes in a palette with three different shades and has four variants- Hot Temptation, Angel Wing, Truly Diva and Green Rhapsody.

PRICE: INR 495

Here I’ll review hot temptation i.e. No.1. the three shades which it includes are- Champagne, Copper and Golden.

My take on Deborah Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow in Hot Temptation:

These come packaged in a burgundy round palette with glass lid. The applicator given is both sided and not very useful! The eyeshadows can be used in both wet and dry form.

The shadows are well pigmented, long lasting and gives a nice shimmery look to your eyes. Its best suited to people who like moderate amount of shimmer on their eyes, like me. good staying power of 3-4 hours in dry form, lasts longer when used wet. I am particularly in love with the golden and copper shadow, it suits my medium skin tone so well! Though I rarely use the champagne shade as I feel it’ll suit fair skinned ladies. Lesser amount of fallout. Most of the cosmetics I use tend to make my oily skin greasier, but that is not the case with this one. Also the staying power of any cosmetic reduces as oiliness grips you, but this one provides long enough standing time.

In the EOTD also I haven’t used the champagne shade. Apart from the copper shade on lids and golden on brow bone, I have used Maybelline define-a-lash mascara (its bad! See the clumping ), Revlon eyeliner in aqua blue and colossal kajal here. Please bear with not so good EOTD the pics were taken 1.5hrs after the make-up and I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes every now and then.

Pros of Deborah Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow in Hot Temptation:

• Good staying power
• Inexpensive
• Well pigmented
• Can be used in both dry and wet form (wet form increases the shimmer and staying power)
• Less fallout
• Moderate amount of shimmer makes it suitable for day wear as well

Cons of Deborah Ombretto Trio Hi-Tech Eyeshadow in Hot Temptation:

• Ladies demanding high shimmer will be disappointed
• In particular, I don’t like the champagne shade much!
• Applicator
• Fragile lid (my lid broke long time back)

WILL I RECOMMEND? Definitely…. good staying power, oily skin isn’t a hindrance for staying power, golden and copper colour quite suitable for Indian skin tone. I guess it’s a good deal for that amount of money.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN? Yes! but in some other variant. There are very less products which suit my oily and sensitive skin, this is one of them.

RATING: 4/5 (-1 for champagne shade and not so good applicator)
