How are you doing these days?
I don’t know why but I have a certain inclination towards pinks as far as lipcolors are concerned. I always end up picking a pink shade in lippies. So this time I decided to invest on a brown shade so that I could bring some variety to my collection. Diana of London 2000 kisses, as I told you earlier, is a very long staying product and I like it for this very quality. The shade I put my hands on, this time, is cranberry. Read on to find out how did I like it.
525 for 8 ml.
My experience with Diana of London 2000 Kisses Lipstick:
The packaging is a transparent one which lets you see the actual colour through it. 2000 kisses is imprinted on it in silver. Overall packaging is good. Pigmentation is really good and you know by now that it stays like forever. Once you are done with the application, forget touch ups for the rest of the day. They are a bit drying which can be overcome by a lip balm. Being absolutely lightweight and waterproof is what makes them appear in my favorites.
Coming to this particular shade which is Cranberry, I will say, it just did not suit me. May be I was right in picking up pinks as those shades lift up my face. This brown color made my face look unusually dull. It appeared as if five more years have been added to my age. I guess this brown will look better on dusky and dark beauties. For me, it was just a 500 Rupee note which disappeared from my wallet for no reason.
Pros of Diana of London 2000 Kisses Lipstick:
• Long long long stay.
• Absolutely weightless.
Cons of Diana of London 2000 Kisses Lipstick:
• I personally do not like this shade.
• They dry up very soon and not at all moisturising.
• It has a strange smell which may be a turn off for some.
• One more con, which I forgot to mention in the previous review, is that it contains a lot of parabens.
Will I recommend/repurchase Diana of London 2000 Kisses Lipstick?
Girls with dusky or dark complexions can give it a try. I am definitely not going to buy this one again. (In fact I would be more than happy if they could take it back and return my money. ;) )
Take care fashion lovers.
