   Primer is the first step to makeup base, it smoothens out the skin and preps for foundation
   then u cud apply foundation and finally concealer ideally

2. I have some recommendations for combination skin

   Foundation – MAC pro longwear/ clinique super balanced
   Concealer – MAC pro longwear/chambor 1
   Primer – MAC prep + prime (the slightly creamy white one)

   Loose powder – L’oreal mineral

   (Had to add that extra bit on loose powder since it works great on my combination skin:))

   You guys are doing a great job! 🙂 I am 25yrs old and I have never done make up. However I wanted to try some make up on me and I would like your suggestions. I have dry skin (my skin gets dryness near my lips and upper cheeks). I have a tanned complexion and very big eyes. I recently bought body shop make up suggested by the body shop attendant in Singapore. I bought for light make up and this is all she gave me
   1. A concealer
   2. Loose powder foundation to go next
   3. A pressed powder kind which she said adds some shine like a bronzer
   4. Blush

   I would like to know whether this procedure is enough to achieve a minimal make up look and tips on how to keep my make up for longer. Also, any good lipstick colour I can try for a beginner?

4. A concealer is mostly used to hide imperfections like spots, dark circles etc
   A foundation is a base which you apply to make skin look smooth and glowing.
   A primer is something you use under both of the above to help stay the product and give the eyeshadows something to stick to. they also make the shadow/liner look more vibrant and helps not to crease 🙂

      Any suggestions for lipsticks? Any specific shades (also the brand pls) I could try for a start which wont make me look too out there and I want it mellow and light wear. However, my job does not provide me any scope to dress up as I turn up to work in tracks and tee (one of the reasons I love being in academics..hahaha). So I could probably buy a brand which wont burn a hole in my pocket coz I might wear it only when I go out on weekends.
