Dior Nail Paint Porcelaine 204

We mostly don’t concentrate much on posting the limited edition stuff on IMBB. Mostly because by the time the review is posted, the LE stuff is already out of stock at the stores. But since I knew that these Dior nail paints are going to be around for a while, it was hard for me not to share. 🙂
Porcelain is a part of Dior’s Trianon Spring 2014 collection. It is priced at Rs 1800/- It is the prettiest pastel blue I have come across in a long time and I couldn’t resist picking this up for myself. It’s almost a whitish sky blue.:)
Dior Nail Paints come in a square glass bottle with a silver cap. The brush is an amazing flat shaped one. It is broad and fans easily on the nails. One stroke and it covers the entire nail paint.
The nail paint has a creamy finish. The first coat goes slightly streaky and semi opaque. But the second coat makes it completely opaque and smooth.
The pastel shades are slightly tricky to wear. They may make your hands look a bit dark . I nevertheless enjoy wearing them.
The most remarkable quality of the nail paint is the staying power. It’s been 6 days I have worn this nail paint. It still looks glossy, and freshly applied. There has been ZERO chopping on my nails so far. 🙂

The closest shades I could find to this nail paint is Maybelline Blueberry Ice and Lotus Herbals Deep Sea. But Dior one is even paler and pastel.

beautiful Rati *woot* . I used to keep away from pastel shades coz, like u said I thought they made ur fingers look darker. But interestingly this shade reminds me of the light blue dress Lupita nyong’o wore to the oscars. That was much raved about and I remember reading some where that her designers thought the light blue would make her dark skin shine. So may be pastels aren’t that bad after all 😀 By the way this luks beautiful on ur nails Rati *clap* But 1800₹…. *scared* *scared* ….and I was thinking opi paints were costly *hihi*

It does make the hands look a tad bit darker, but the shade is such a pretty pastel *woot* , I just got the maybelline one last week going to paint my nails soon with it *nails* , loved it on ur lovely nails 🙂
