Our skin always needs to be fresh and protected. To keep my skin fresh, I love to use face mists very frequently throughout the day. After trying those readily available face mists, I prepared my own with some amazing natural ingredients. This refreshing face mist works so much better than those store-bought ones and has benefitted my skin too. So let’s get started with the recipe and other details.

Carrot: Carrot is full of Vitamin A and antioxidants, which are very effective at keeping various skin problems at bay. It offers a great healing quality, which can heal sun damaged skin. It makes skin soft and nourished. It acts as a natural sunblock hence can protect skin from the harmful rays of the sun easily.

Green Tea: Green tea is full of antioxidants which are really beneficial and make our skin healthy. Green tea offers a number of properties that help you achieve that glowy skin. Green tea protects against the sun damage through its impact on free radicals and skin inflammation.

⦁ Aloe Vera: Aloe vera is a great ingredient that provides hydration to the skin and it repairs damaged skin quite well. It acts as a nice skin soothing ingredient too. It also helps reduce acne, inflammation and redness to a great extent.

⦁ Peppermint Essential Oil: Its super fresh fragrance makes skin fresh and active. It provides a soothing effect to the skin. It reduces headache and relaxes the skin.

⦁ Lemon Essential Oil: Lemon oil act as a nice antiseptic and it keeps skin fresh. It also relaxes tired skin easily.

Procedure:

⦁ First, freshly juice the carrots and prepare green tea. Mix both the ingredients well. The consistency should be water-like.

⦁ Now take 1 small spoon of aloe vera gel and take 1 tablespoon of that mixed juice separately in a bowl and mix both of these nicely. I do this step separately because aloe vera gel doesn’t get dissolved easily.

⦁ Add this aloe vera gel to the juice in bigger bowl, and mix these well.

⦁ Now add a few drops of lemon essential oil and peppermint essential oil, and mix everything nicely.

⦁ Your face mist is now ready.
⦁ Next you can store it in a spray bottle and keep it in the refrigerator for future uses. You can keep it for maximum 1 week.

⦁ Apply this directly on your face as a face mist. You can use it as a toner too. Also, spray this mist after your makeup to set the makeup. You can carry it in your bag and spray it on the face to protect skin from the sun.

I am so happy with this creation of mine as it works so well. 🙂 This is a super lightweight formula that gets easily absorbed by the skin. It never feels heavy, oily or sticky.   1. I am sorry.. but lemon oil and aloe vera in a sunblock mist? I think they are well-known to make the skin more photosensitive. Please correct me!
