DIY – Rose Petals and Sugar Skin Smoothening Body Scrub

Hello, Ladies!

I am a very lazy person in this winter and I always skip using a body scrub but, exfoliating help to make your skin smooth and soft. So, to exfoliate my body properly, I need something new and I always love to experiment with my DIY’s. Recently, I fell in love with Roses. It is not only a gorgeous flower; it also helps to provide a glowing and smooth skin. So, I have prepared this simple body scrub with the help of roses and sugar to make it a skin smoothening scrub and it suits almost all skin types.

Rose Petals Scrub

Ingredients:

Rose Petals: Roses are rich in vitamin C – a big source of anti-oxidants; It helps to protect our skin cells from damages and makes it healthy. It also protects the skin from the sun damages and its soothing effect calms down the tired skin. It also has moisturising properties that keep your skin soft and naturally glowing. It also acts as an anti-bacterial ingredient.

Sugar: Its fine texture gently exfoliates the skin without harming them. It has some moisturising properties that prevent your skin from drying. It can effectively remove all the dead skin cells and make your skin smooth and soft.

Honey: Honey is full of antioxidants. It is great for anti-ageing. It is extremely moisturising and soothing so, it imparts a radiant glow. Honey is clarifying because it opens up the pores making them easy to unclog.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is very good for skin. It is an anti-ageing oil. It is healthy for skin and makes it smooth too. It also gives an even tone and deeply moisturised skin. It has good antioxidant properties, which protects your skin against cracking. It has numerous beauty benefits and is widely used in skin care products.

Procedure:

Step 1: First, you need one rose and separate those rose petals in a blender to make a smooth fine paste.

Step 2: Next, add this rose paste with 2 tablespoons of sugar and mix them well.

Step 3: Next, add 1 spoon of coconut oil and blend it again.

Step 4: Now, add 1 spoon of Honey with it and combine all of them nicely.

Step 5: Store it in a small jar and you can keep it in a refrigerator for 3-4 days.

Step 6: Apply this on your body and gently exfoliate your skin with it, then rinse it with normal water.

I have quite a dry skin on my body and my skin turns rough during winter. This scrub is full of amazing ingredients that make my skin smooth and soft with a gentle massage. Sugar helps to remove the dry, rough and dead skin cells instantly, thereby, making your skin smooth. Also, rose and honey help to add a nice, healthy, natural glow to my body that looks so fresh and glowing. Here, I had used coconut oil that works amazingly to keep the skin moisturised and soft for long. This scrub adds a nice healthy and smooth glow to my body that lasts long.
