Dolce and Gabbana Velvet Desert Oud Eau De Parfum Review

If I am allowed to keep one single perfume from my entire perfume collection and chuck out the rest, I will pick Dolce and Gabbana Velvet Desert Oud EDP. This is one of the most finest oud fragrances that I have tried till now. I have never loved any of Dolce and Gabbanas fragrances, but this is one of the best perfumes out there.

My Experience with Dolce and Gabbana Velvet Desert Oud Eau De Parfum:

The perfume bottle comes housed in a stunning velvet box. Inside this box, comes a stunning translucent black perfume bottle with a gold metal plate that has the perfume name written on it.

The cap has a velvet touch to it with brand name engraved on it. The bottle overall looks classy and expensive.

Velvet Desert is an oriental oud fragrance and one of the most classiest and finest fragrances by Dolce and Gabbana. This is one of the most gorgeous scents that I have ever tried. Oud, musk and amber are so beautifully blended in this perfume.

On the initial spray, it smells sweet and smokey. As soon as it dries, it translates into a beautiful blend of oud, musk and amber. It has a slight warmth and darkness to it which makes it most wearable in autumn and winter times, but I love this fragrance so much that I can wear it in any season. It’s most appropriate to wear during night time or evening parties.

Talking about the staying power, it lasts for 12 and more hours on me.

Dolce and Gabbana’s Velvet Desert Oud is marketed as a unisex fragrance, but according to me, because of the initial sweetness, this fragrance is more feminine and guys wouldn’t take much fancy to it.
