Dove Go Fresh Rebalance Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash Review

Hope you are having a wonderful day! Today, I am reviewing a body wash from Dove’s Go Fresh range. This is the Dove Go Fresh Rebalance Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash.

My Experience with Dove Go Fresh Rebalance Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash:

The Dove Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash comes packed in a white and purple shaded flip top bottle. The bottle is opaque, so you really cannot see how much product is left. The cap closes tightly and you can travel with it. The body wash itself is pale lavender in color and has a creamy texture. It lathers really well and a small amount is enough to produce rich, luxurious foam with your loofah.

This body wash, like all Dove products, smells really great! It has a slightly sweet fruity scent with of a floral scent. I quite like the refreshing scent, but I do not find the scent lasting for a long time on my skin after showering. I can smell it on me for an hour or so after which it is totally gone. However, Dove does have a body mist in the same Plum and Sakura Blossom scent, so layering that on top of this body wash will help keep the scent on you for longer.

This body wash being so creamy does not leave the skin feeling greasy. The body wash claims to contain Dove’s proprietary Nutrium Moisture. My skin does feel moisturized and hydrated after using this, but it is not as moisturizing as Dove’s Visible Care or Purely Pampering range of body washes. I can get away without using a moisturizer when the weather is not very cold. But during the extreme cold winters in Canada, I do have to use a moisturizer to avoid the dry and itchy skin a few hours after showering.

Pros of Dove Go Fresh Rebalance Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash:

• Creamy texture and lathers well.
• Leaves skin feeling smooth and silky.
• Cleans and hydrates well without stripping the skin of moisture.
• Does not leave any greasy residue on the skin, in spite of being so creamy.
• Does not irritate the skin in any way.
• Travel-friendly packaging.

Cons of Dove Go Fresh Rebalance Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash:

• The scent does not last for long after showering.

Would I Recommend Dove Go Fresh Rebalance Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash?

This is a refreshing and hydrating body wash from Dove, which might be better suited for the summer. Do try this!
