Today’s review is about Dove Invigorating Pear Foaming Body Wash. I feel Dove offers awesome drugstore products. So when I saw these newly launched products I could not resist and bought three of these.

My Experience with Dove Invigorating Pear Foaming Body Wash:
The bottle of this foaming body wash looks so much like a hand wash dispenser. The whole packaging is made up of plastic with a pump dispenser on top. The packaging, on the whole, is small and cute and also sturdy. There is also a strip sticker at the dispenser base which can be rubbed to check the fragrance. That is a nice and interesting concept. So, one need not open the packaging or pump out the product at the store to test it. ?
The fragrance of this pear body wash is exactly like that of a pear. I like pears and hence love the fragrance too. If you do not like pears I definitely suggest you stay away from this one. The first time I used, I thought I was supposed to shake the product before use, but you don’t have to so. There is also a description sticker that explains how to use the product. One has to just press the dispenser for the foam to pump out. The product inside the bottle is liquid. One can open the lid and check.
The foam is very airy and light. I use around 4 to 5 pumps over my wet skin for a shower. The product lathers well, but since the foam is super light, I end up using extra product. The foam does not feel creamy or sticky on the skin. It’s definitely different than Nivea Cream Care Silky Skin Mousse Body Wash, definitely in a good way. I have a feeling that this product will not last more than 3 weeks.
The body wash leaves the skin well moisturised and I feel that there is no need to apply a body lotion afterwards. It just removes dirt from the skin and not its moisture. It’s quite mild and gentle to the skin. I sometimes use it on my kids too and it causes no damage to their skin either. I love to pamper myself as much as possible. And, such foaming products feel quite pampering to me.
The fragrance also lasts an hour or two. It’s not a strong radiating fragrance but at least it makes my skin smell good. The product washes off easily and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean. My skin does not feel dry or stretched after using this product. Overall, I love the product.
