Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner

Hey IMBB Sweeties,

Today, I am going to review Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner. Dove recently launched all their products in a new avataar, which includes all their face washes, shampoos and conditioners. Among all the new products, they have also launched a new Dove Nourishing Oil Care range which includes shampoo, conditioner, serum and hair mask.

Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner

Last year, I have had a bad phase, health wise. I was in the ICU for 3 months and I lost most of my hair due to all the medications. I had to cut my hair short and it had become all frizzy and unmanageable. Now, I have new hair growth, but it is looking really weird. People giving me weird looks after noticing my hair made me all the more self-conscious. I initially straightened the hair using a hair straightener, but it damaged the hair even more. Now, I use good hair products according to my hair type (Thanks to IMBB gals for it and I’m really grateful to you all because it worked).  Also, I cover up all the flaws of my hair using a hair band and clips.

So, coming back to the review.  I have been using Dove Intense repair conditioner for a while and it worked quite well for a while.  So, when Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner was launched, I decided to try this. After having used it for more than a week now, I decided to share my experience with all you gals.

I am sorry if you find the pictures too flashy, but the packaging is all gold and reflects light like anything.

MRP:  Rs. 160/- for 180 ml.

My Take on Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner:

Dove has always had a very good range of conditioners. They have worked well for many people, can’t say the same about their shampoos. Many gals have had hairfall because of it; Dove didn’t disappoint this time as well. The moment I rinsed my hair, it was all smooth and soft. It took care of the frizziness and fly-aways so well that I actually didn’t need a serum after that.

Pros of Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner:

  • Very mild and can be used for everyday wash and conditioning.
  • Treats frizz and fly-aways with ease.
  • Has the typical Dove fragrance.
  • My hair is nourished, softer and detangled after use.
  • Normal coin-sized amount is needed for a single use.
  • Price is very reasonable for the quantity.
  • Easy-to-use flip-top cap.
  • Easily available everywhere.

Cons of Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner:

None except for the fact that it has parabens, but I guess I can live with that 🙂

IMBB Rating:

5/5.

  6. Nice review Richa
I find dove conditioners pretty ok and the oil care one and the treatment one(conditioners) are the best of the lot

  7. Thanks for the review Richa…I have jst bought this new conditioner and I found it to be really good. My hair feels much more softer and healthy. But the only drawback I found is that I have started loosing some hair, not sure if it is because of the conditioner or it usually happens when you change your conditioner as i was using herbal essence before this. :pigtail:

    1. I experience hairfall due to Dove Shampoos but never conditioners. I hope u dont apply conditioners to the roots of the hair as it aggrevates hari fall.
