I had such a great time trying so many new products! I bought two of these palettes. Let’s get started with ‘Day 2 Night’.

My Experience on e.l.f Day 2 Night Brightening Eye Color Quad:
Packaging: This quad comes in a white and transparent plastic packaging like most of the elf products. It is tiny and great for travel purposes. The quad has a small mirror and a dual ended sponge applicator. The transparent lid opens and closes with a nice and audible click and has all the details written in silver. The packaging is very minimal yet classy.
Color/Pigmentation: These shades do not have any name to them so we will refer them as shade 1, 2 etc.
Shade 1: It is an off white, light champagne color. It looks super natural when blended and can be used as a brow bone highlighter or as a cheek highlighter. It has a metallic reflect to it and has very fine shimmer that gives a natural glow to the skin.
Shade 2: This one is again a beautiful mauvy-purple color. It is a little bit more powdery than the others but when you blend it properly, there’s no fallout. This was the shade that made me buy the palette.
Shade 3: This one is a greyish black color. It’s a cool toned shade and is great for soft smokey eye look. I really love this color a lot.
Shade 4: I love this shade as much as I love the purple shade. It’s a gorgeous metallic brown color which looks great when light falls on it. It has that ‘foil-effect’ that I cannot get enough of!
These eye shadows have super fine shimmer in them but trust me when I tell you, after you blend them, you cannot see the shimmers. They all give a very subtle and natural glowy look. The pigmentation is buildable.
Texture: These shadows might seem powdery, but if you blend it well, there is no fallout whatsoever! They go on very smoothly on the lids and do not look cakey at all! They blend in like a dream!
Staying Power: These stay on my lids for 4 hours without a primer. A primer could definitely increase the staying power by a couple or so hours!
Summing up the pros and cons..

• Useful for day to night looks.

Final Verdict:
This palette has some really basic eye shadows. Definitely a must have palette, especially for beginners. This is a palette that you can never go wrong with!

Good shade selection, but I think I have seen similar combo in a Lakme quad.
