Hi Girls,

Hope you all are doing great!

Weekend is here; time to have fun and party! Today, I am going to review a lip color, which is very beautiful, and can get you in the party mood as soon as you apply it. It is the shade Fuchsia from ELF’s Studio Matte Lip Color range. This range offers 11 different colors:

• Berry Sorbet
• Dash of Pink
Coral
• Natural
• Tea Rose
Praline
• Nearly Nude
Rich Red
• Fuchsia
• Wine
Cranberry

I own 2 of them: Fuchsia, which I am reviewing now, and Cranberry. This range has such a pretty collection of colors but unfortunately most of the ones I likes were out of stock and I could get my hands on only 2 of these beauties!

Let us begin with the review.

Product Description: This convenient jumbo-sized lip pencil creates exact color application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen. The pigment rich color glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte color. The enriched Vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips.

My Experience with e.l.f. Fuchsia Studio Matte Lip Color:

This lip color comes in a black colored twist-able crayon style packaging. The lipstick is very sleek and easy to handle due to perfect width. The pointed shape of the lipstick makes it very easy to apply with precision. The name of brand is printed in silver on the body while it is color coded at the bottom, which makes it easily identifiable. The cap shuts nicely and the sleek packaging makes it easier to be carried around. The twistable lip color can easily be sharpened if required. All the important information about the lip color is mentioned on the outer black cardboard casing.

Fuchsia is a beautiful dark pink-toned color. It suits me very well and I am sure it will suit all Indian skin tones be it light, medium or dark. This color instantly brightens your face and can quickly turn on your mood! There is no shimmer present and is absolutely matte.

Even though it is a matte lip color, it does not dry out the lips or tug on while application. It is smooth on application and once it sets, it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. Sometimes I forget that I am wearing a lip color! It is not a creamy lip color, which makes it very less transferable thus increasing the staying power. The color pigmentation is good and can easily be built upon. 2 swipes are needed for complete coverage. It leaves a mild pink stain at the end of the day, which is not at all bad!

This lip color lasts for 5-6 hours with minimal eating and will last up to 4 hours with heavy eating and drinking. This is a pretty good time for a $3 product.

    1. Yeah Garima! The lip colors are too good. Getting these in India is a pain! I really wish they come up in India soon!

  1. Any online site that ships an authentic range of these products to India? :/ @Tany, cranberry looks good on you. But both are good. Lucky you 😀

    1. Thanks Rama 🙂 . Have you checked Sephora? Do they stock ELF range? Getting these from abroad would turn out to be expensive unless somebody who is coming from there can bring it along!
