It has been a long time since I last reviewed a product on IMBB, though I am always adding new makeup products to my stash. False eyelashes are the integral part of makeup, but most of us tend to stay away from them. Falsies are quite popular in the western countries, and are an essential part of Arabian makeup, or one can say that Arabian makeup is incomplete without falsies and defined eyebrows. The most tricky part is to get the right false lashes that have a flexible band to get adjusted on the curve of the eyes, and I am lucky enough to have made the right choice.

How to Use:
• Gently remove lash from tray.
• Pierce the top of the adhesive tube and apply a thin amount of glue along the entire length of the lash strip.
• Allow glue to sit until tacky, then place lashes as close to the baseline of your own lashes as possible, working from the center out.
• Hold the lash in place for a few seconds until the lash strip has a chance to hold.
• Apply mascara if desired.
• To remove lashes hold a warm damp towel to the eye and gently peel off false lashes from the root.
• Replace on contour tray for reshaping and continuous wear
Eyelash Glue Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates/Octylacrylamide Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone
Packaging:
It has a traditional falsies packaging – the false eyelashes are placed on a plastic contour tray with an additional slot for the glue. The contour tray is housed in a cardboard box with a see-through top cover. All the instructions, validity and details are mentioned at the back of the cover.
My Experience with Elf 1713 Natural Lash Kit:
Being new to false eyelashes, I really have to work hard to put these on. These lashes really need good practise and precision to get placed properly on the lids. But I must appreciate the way they make the eyes look. These lashes make the face look more lively even without putting makeup on. They not only give volume to natural eyelashes, but also make the eyes look more defined if paired with a winged eye liner. The best part I came across is that they do not irritate my eyes or feel heavy. In fact they are quite comfortable.
ELF Glue:
I got pretty disappointed with the ELF glue that comes along with the kit. The glue is clear in texture and very thick in consistency. It is hard to pull out from the small bottle and application over the lash band is really difficult. It has a small stick connected with the cap and the cap shuts tight onto the bottle. This avoids any spillage. The glue does not evenly run on the lash band and results in mess.
Longevity:
This ELF glue does not hold the lashes for more than 2 hours. I do not touch or rub my eyes even though it hardly stays on for 2 hours, after which the lashes start coming off from the centre. But, it might work better with some other professional falsies glue.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Elf 1713 Natural Lash Kit?
I would like to try out other variants from this ‘natural lash kit’ range. But the product is worth the money and good for everyday use. Beginners must try it!
My Verdict:
These lashes will work very well if paired with a good waterproof glue. The Elf glue is something one can’t rely on.
