ELF Golden Peach All Over Color Stick Review

Here, I am again with an ELF product. I cannot get over the fact how can some company make good products at such low prices. The product being reviewed today is “ELF All Over Color Stick in Golden Peach.” If you have not tried your hands on any product like this, then this is a great option. Many companies Like NARS, Nyx, Tarte etc. make products like this.

Packaging:
It comes in a white roll on stick. The packaging looks cheap and breakable. The upper cap is transparent. It closes softly and can come out at any moment so not a travel friendly packaging. The amount of product given is 4 gm. Within the packaging, the product amount seems very little, but in this price range, it is sufficient. The base is white colored on which once “ELF all over color stick” was written. At the bottom, there is a sticker on which shade code, name etc. are mentioned. There is no magnet to ensure the cap is firmly closed.

Price:
$1.50 (approximately INR 120).

Texture:  This has cream-to-powder finish. It instructs to apply on eye, cheek and lips, but it is too dry for eyes and lips. There are little specks of shimmer in it. This particular color has more shimmer than the other shades. Whatsoever, these shimmer specks are not visible on skin.  When I took a swatch on the skin, it was very hard to blend as it sets very fast. Even if it is powder finish, it does not dry the skin. The best method of application is by using fingers, but if you want a hygienic option, you can use a stippling brush. This shade builds up easily. The texture is soft. If you press hard, it leaves a dent. It may melt if you take it to high temperature.

Pigmentation:  This particular color is an orange shade. It says golden peach color, but when I opened it, it looked like a subtle orange color to me. When applied, the color appears light coral color to me. It smells of an orange candy. At a normal distance, it appears like a nice glow, but as you take a very close look, you will be able to notice specks of gold shimmer. Nothing serious although. The color can act as a natural blush/highlighter.

Staying Power:  Alone without any base, it stayed for about 4-5 hours on my combination to dry skin. When used as a blush topper, it stayed up to 6-7 hours. It worked very well. Since it is a cream product, I have no idea how long will it stay put in hot-humid days. Of course, it needs to be set by a translucent powder.

• Nice glow.
• No rubbery chemical smell.
• Decent staying power.
• Texture is non greasy.
• Sets fast.

Cons of ELF Golden Peach All over Color Stick:

• Not a travel-friendly packaging.
• It dries when used on eyes or lips.
• Availability.

Would I Recommend ELF Golden Peach All over Color Stick?
Yes, if you want to jump on the bandwagon of multitasking color sticks, then this is an affordable version of it. I do not know if it is dupe of any high-end multitasking stick, but it’s still worth a try.
