ELF Mineral Lipsticks in Fiery Fuchsia and Ripe Rose

Hello IMBB Ladies,

Hope you all had a wonderful Diwali!

Today, I will be reviewing ELF’s Mineral Lipstick in Fiery Fuchsia and Ripe Rose.  I picked these shades on eyeslipsface.com a few months back and I simply love these lipsticks for two reasons. Firstly, because they moisturize so well and secondly because both the shades are so pretty!!!

My Take on ELF Mineral Lipsticks:

Shades: Fiery Fuschia and Ripe Rose

swatches

Fiery Fuchsia is a beautiful pink shade with a slight silver sheen giving the lips a satin finish. I think this shade will complement many skin tones. Ripe Rose is a matte rosy shade which looks very natural on me and completely brightens up my face.

Both the lipsticks are very creamy and very well pigmented. They glided on very easily and full coverage was achieved with 1 to 2 swipes. Apart from this, they are very moisturizing. ELF’s mineral lipsticks can function both as a lipstick and a lip balm/lip conditioner. My only issue with them is that they are not very long lasting. They lasted on me for a maximum 2 to 3 hours and after that I needed to reapply for touch-ups.

Available colors from eyeslipsface.com website:

Pros of ELF Mineral Lipsticks:

• Extremely creamy.
• Very moisturizing.
• Does not crease into lip lines.
• 18 beautiful shades to choose from.
• Good pigmentation.
• Formulated as 100% mineralized.
• Parabens and preservatives free.
• Packaging is sophisticated and the capping is very secure.
• There is no odor to the lipsticks.
• No animal testing. ELF is an animal cruelty-free brand.

Cons of ELF Mineral Lipsticks:

• Availability in India is an issue. These can only be purchased online at eyeslipsface.com.
• Not very long lasting.
• Color swatches are way off from the color swatches on their website.

Will I Repurchase?

Yes, I will try some other shades. Considering the product’s quality for it’s price, I will definitely repurchase.

My Rating:

3.5/5 (for the reasons listed above).
