I have a huge stack of eye shadows, but I do not wear them often because I earlier thought it was to be worn only on special occasions and it might look out of place for everyday use. But, I do not care about it anymore. I spend lot of bucks on eye shadows and now I love to flaunt them every day. However, I keep it a little subtle for daily wear. But for occasion, I choose shades according to the look I am going for.
Here is a review of shade that can be used for a party or night look.

My Take On Elf Studio Long Lasting Lustrous Eye Shadow – Party:
I am not into mono eye shadows anymore because at the same price, I can usually buy a palette which gives more options. Hence, I do not hoard them anymore. Nevertheless, I bought this one because I liked the shade and it seemed like it can be used as a top coat to transform a simple smokey look to a more glamorous one.
Packaging:
Plastic clear jar holds the product which has a black opaque cap and the name of the product written on top is in white. Packaging appears decent look wise but not too good.
Texture:
It appears to be creamy but has more of a liquid consistency than creamy. It is more like a homogeneous mixture of color pigments in a gel base and instead of manually mixing these two components, this product is premixed.
Color:
Gun metal grey with silver and maroon sparkle. When applied individually it might appear sheer but with a powder shadow underneath it gives a good color pay off.
Pigmentation:
One really needs to swirl the brush around a few times to pick up decent amount of product but even after that it cannot be used as an individual eye shadow but rather as a final touch top coat.
Shimmer and Shine:
It has silver and maroon sparkle like most eye shadow dust.
Wear time:
Entire day if used with a primer or with powder eye shadow underneath. When used as a top coat, let it set for a while before further messing with it. A lighter shade from this range can be used as eye brightener or face highlighter.
Conclusion:
This shade is ideal to glamorize any normal nude or smokey eye look. I do not own an eye shadow of this particular texture hence it was a pleasant surprise, when I tried out this unique product.

Not this particular shade but would like to buy other shades from this range. I totally recommend it all those who like eye shadow dust but struggle to apply it.
