ELF Studio Retractable Lip Brush Review

Hey!

You know, I have found that sticking to a routine is one of the best ways to increase productivity. Why I am sharing this sudden revelation with you guys? You may have noticed I am writing reviews regularly. This is basically to create a routine that I follow, and I waste less time this way. Same with diet and exercise! Anyone who lacks motivation (like me) can follow this.

Okay, too much gyaan; coming to my review, I am going to review today the ELF Studio retractable lip brush, which I got recently. This was mainly for using with the lipsticks that come in refills or palettes, like the Inglot refills.

Product Description:

This Taklon brush can be used with wet or dry products. Compact and retractable brush is perfect for precision application and mess-free storage. Use to apply lip color, fill in fine lines, or line the outer rims of your lips for extra definition. The tapered tip bristles are designed for easy and controlled application. Be a professional makeup artist and create a flawless look with this ELF Studio Brush.

Directions For Use:

Take the cap off and put it on the bottom of the brush to *pop-up* the retractable lip brush. Apply a lip color or gloss to the center of your lips and blend in.

Price:

$3 from its website. You can get it at half off too (at this price!!!!) since they keep having sales all the time.

Packaging:

It comes in the regular plastic pouch that ELF brushes always come in, where you can see the brush from the front, and there are instructions at the back. You can probably keep it in the packaging, because you can close it if you want to, but I usually don’t. I felt this packaging was okay for a brush this size.

My Take on ELF Studio Retractable Lip Brush:

Finally, coming to the brush itself. First of all, I *love* the way it works. You take off the cap, and insert it at the bottom so that the brush comes out from its retracted position. Some people apparently find it difficult to use, but it really is very easy. This also makes it so convenient for travel, and even to put it into my purse when going out, and things will not get messy inside. It remains clean and you don’t need to worry about it even if your purse is a madhouse like mine.

As for the bristles, I found the bristles to be stiff, yet soft, and just the correct amount. They are pretty densely packed and so it picks up the right amount of product. The tapered tip makes it easy to fill in the corners of the lips easily and precisely. You can also line your lips using this one. Also, there was no shedding of the bristles after washes. Overall, the quality seemed very good to me, and I had not expected it for the price, but it’s amazing!

Pros of ELF Studio Retractable Lip Brush:

  • Very compact and pretty packaging. Great for travel.
  • Easy to use.
  • The design of the product is really good, and it seems good quality.
  • Bristles are soft yet stiff and densely packed.
  • Great price for a very useful product.
  • Hygienic since it has a cover.
  • No shedding of bristles after washes.
  • Tapered tip makes it easy to line the lips and fill in color.

Cons of ELF Studio Retractable Lip Brush:

  • Can’t think of any!

So, I will obviously recommend this to everyone, both because of the product, and the price point. In general, I have found ELF products to be of really good quality given the price, and you can always try out something without burning a hole in your pocket.

I have already bought two, so that I have a back-up in case something happens to this one.

5/5.
