ELF Studio Shimmer Sheets in Pink Review

Today, I am back with another review. I finally convinced my aunt to get me some products from USA and this was a part of the list. Some while ago, I had reviewed ELF Shimmer Sheets in Golden and today I will be reviewing the same product in shade Pink. My first experience with shimmer sheets was quite interesting and I was very impressed with the golden sheets hence decided to try some other color too. Also, this is quite a unique and multi-purpose product that wouldn’t be hard on your pocket.  Read on to know more.

Product Description:

These lightly dusted shimmer sheets create a gorgeous, healthy glow on the apples of the cheeks, décolleté, or anywhere you desire. Ingredients:

Mica, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Phenoxyethanol. May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow No. 5 Lake (CI 19140), Red No. 40 Lake (CI 16035), Ultramarine Violet (CI 77007), Blue No. 1 Lake (CI 42090).

Shades Available:

Currently there are 4 colors i.e. pearl, pink, golden and bronze.

How To Use:

Gently remove a single sheet from the envelope. Press the shimmer side of the paper on the apples of your cheeks, décolleté or anywhere else you would like to add a beautiful glow.  Use daily as often as desired.

My Experience with ELF Studio Shimmer Sheets in Pink:

Just like the golden shimmer sheets, these too come in an envelope type of packaging which is black in color. It’s neat, thin and light to carry around making it very travel-friendly.  The sheets are placed inside this pocket envelope which opens just like a card. All 20 sheets are again packed in a plastic cover to avoid product wastage. Coming to the sheets, these sheets are fragrance-free and the color is a lighter pink shade, more or less like hot pink. The shimmer particles have blue-tinged particles to it.

It also has a powdery feel to it which may not suit darker skin tones. It has a lot of shimmer particles which does justice to the product name and purpose. It has a super blendable nature. The sheets are extremely pigmented and a slight pressurized touch with fingers or brush can pick up way too much product than what is actually needed. Hence one has to be very careful with its application as this product gets very messy. What makes it messier is the fact that the product tends to cling to the skin (considering the fact it has tiny shimmer particles) and it also transfers onto anything that gets in contact with.

It is a bit difficult to completely remove the entire product from the face in one go. From this fact, it can be concluded that this is a long-lasting product which fades slowly throughout the day. ELF sheets are multi-purpose, hence I use this as a blush, mostly as a lip shimmer and as an eye shadow. Only half of a single sheet may be required for the entire face.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend ELF Studio Shimmer Sheets in Pink?

No, I won’t repurchase them as I feel I this will last me quite a long time, but I highly recommend these if you want to try something new and if you are a little tight on the budget.  This is a great multi-purpose product that can save you some money.
