Skin for any of us is important and maintaining a healthy glowing skin is of the utmost importance to us all. Most of us have our own skin care regime that we are regular with. Basics are cleanser, toner moisturizer, under eye creams, night creams and the list goes on. I have my daily skin routine too which I try to maintain more or less every day. Morning I do my usual cleansing toning and moisturizing but at night I try to do a little extra. Every night I without failure use my Elizabeth Arden’s Intervene Stress Recovery Night Cream and here is my review on the product.

The main ingredients include Retinyl linoleate (vitamin A derivative, to repair and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles); sodium hyaluronate and glycerin (moisturizers). The product claims that to use Biodormin technology which works throughout the night to help skin recover from daytime assaults and defend against visible stress on the skin. It softens fine lines and wrinkles and helps repair damage from stress and sun, to give you a better, youthful looking skin.
The product comes in a 50 ml glass tub for $ 49.50 and the cream is white in color and has a beautiful floral smell to it. The tub itself is quite interesting it has a tub within a tub and therefore all the ingredients and the names comes as an over shadow. This is a must have product for people who suffer from fine lines and wrinkles. You can pair it for the serum from the Intervene range and like I said it will give you all the age-defying benefits one can get. Even though I do not have issues with wrinkles as yet but I do have a few small lines under my eyes. It has just been a month since I started using this cream but I feel it has made my skin better than before.

The main important thing we must keep in mind is that most anti-aging products should be used over a period of time to see any visible changes. Also another point to be taken into consideration is that the earlier you start the better it is for the skin.

I have combination skin, which is a nightmare for me and this product is so light it does not feel too heavy on my skin. Most moisturizing creams I have tried before had a heavier texture and therefore led to breakouts all over. But this product makes my skin feel soft, radiant and supple in the morning. It does make my skin feel firmer and clean. These days when we walk out we are not exposed to the harmful rays of the sun but also to pollution and dirt. This cream with its antioxidants helps your skin to maintain its youthful glow. I think for me this is the perfect night cream.

The only problem I reckon with this product is its availability in the market. I bought this through an uncle of mine from states but am sure this is available online in most online shopping sites. Another factor can be the price as well, it is expensive and there are a lot of skin products which does more or less the same work. But the most important factor to consider is your skin type, when buying a cream such as this. Products like these may lead to breakout so it is important to get a sample and use it at least for a week before investing on it. The tub itself can also be problematic, since it is made of glass it is breakable, I already have a few cracks on my product. And I reckon if this product suits you then you should try the other products in the Intervene range by Elizabeth Arden.
