My Experience with Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 20 PA++:
It comes in a portable gold and silver compact with a black rim. The compact comes packaged in a gold and silver cardboard. The compact and the cardboard packaging both have the iconic red door logo of Elizabeth Arden from New York. Kindly check pictures of the compact taken before and after grinding. The amount of powder released is only for one time use. You will also notice that I have placed the compact facing down without the fear of wasting any powder.
The shade and other details are mentioned on the reverse of the compact and as well as on the outer packaging. For my moderately fair skin, I purchased shade 4. I have put some powder on the sponge to show you the shade. Please check pictures of my hand to it blends with my skin.
I have a sensitive-combination skin which tends to become dry in some areas. I prefer using powder based foundations. I use liquid or cream foundations only for special outings or occasions. Some compacts, loose powders further dry out my skin, however on using Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation, I had no such complaints. It does not dry out or irritate my sensitive skin. Instead, it gives me a pure, luminous natural finish.
It has SPF 20, an important factor for daytime use. I first apply my regular day moisturiser or morning cream and leave it for a few minutes and then apply this foundation. It feels light on the skin, blends well and gives a smooth finish. It does not cake up or sit into the fine lines. Truly, as claimed, it is a pure perfection powder. It is very buildable, and you can get light to full coverage, as desired.

• The grinder is fixed, hence cannot see the quantity of the powder left in the compact below
• Comes with a sponge which is not good enough
Would I Recommend Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Powder Foundation SPF 20 PA++?
Yes, surely recommended to all those who like using mineral powder foundation. I like this product and will buy again, but probably a lighter shade.
